I’m in desperate need of a new primary care doctor. I moved recently, and my current one is just way too far out of the way now—even though I actually think they're great. So, here we are... I did some digging about the clinic on Runjanin, and apparently, nobody has any openings except for one person: Dr. Aralica. Has anyone here actually seen her before?

Ideally, I’m looking for the earliest possible opening, because the appointments at the major hospitals are booked out until next year. 🙄

Maybe you should try scheduling an appointment at the Kruge Emergency Services clinic to see the dermatologist. I went there last year for some moles, and they managed to fit me in just two weeks later. I suppose I can only hope things haven't changed since then.

Honestly, all I've ever heard about her is bad (and mind you, I'm just going off hearsay since I haven't dealt with her myself), but hey, you don't ask for advice while you're in the restroom! Thanks for the tip! 🙂

The checkup was completed fairly quickly; she just looked things over with that specific device and mentioned everything seemed fine, I suppose.
Honestly, I have no idea how much expertise she actually possesses. As for the eczema, I'm still dealing with it, but I suppose I'm still standing. 😉
Go check it out. I suppose even if the mole looks suspicious, they’ll probably send you to the hospital regardless.

Does anyone happen to know where Dr. Vlasta Kulišić has moved to? She used to be located near the victims of fascism monument in downtown Washington, D.C.

At Vrabac Emergency Services, you can't actually make an appointment. You just grab a referral from your primary care physician, show up, and wait your turn in line. 🙂

Tyler Adams said:If you're heading over to Vrabac Emergency Services, just a heads-up: you can't actually book an appointment in advance. It’s not like that where you call ahead and set a time. Instead, you just grab a referral from your primary care doctor, show up at the clinic, and wait your turn in line. It's pretty much a "show up and wait" kind of situation! 🙂

So, I already went in to see another doctor! I actually asked Sister Marina if she could squeeze me in for just a quick 30-second checkup because of this one mole, and then I went ahead and scheduled a full, comprehensive exam for later on since it wasn't an emergency. 🙂).
Thanks! Either way, it’s good to be in the loop about those "just in case" scenarios—honestly, I didn't even realize Vrabac Emergency Services was a thing! 🤷

Martinka said:I know a really great chiropractor and a naturopathic doctor near the Cleveland area. If anyone needs their contact info, I can send it over via DM. I know quite a few people who have seen him for treatment, and they were all super happy with the results.
I tried some Ayurveda treatments once and found out that most of my throat issues and coughing were actually caused by yogurt. I guess I've been seeing doctors my whole life for something that was just food-related.

I'm from the Cleveland area and could actually use that number.

For an ophthalmologist, try 60 Ilica St, Dr. Raguž. Highly recommended. I am unsure about anything else, though cataract surgery is covered by Medicare.

I'm looking for some advice and recommendations. Who would you say is the best dermatologist/venereologist in San Francisco? I'm really focusing on venereology specifically, and I'm leaning towards private practices because I just can't deal with waiting months for an appointment. 🙂
What's their diagnostic process like, and how much does a consultation cost? There’s basically nothing online about pricing. Also, are they actually any good? From my experience with similar fields like gynecology, I know a lot of doctors struggle just to pin down a diagnosis, so I'm hoping someone here has had some real experiences with specialists in San Francisco or the surrounding areas... And if there's already a thread about this somewhere, please point me in the right direction. Thanx for any help! 😉

I'm looking for a solid dermatologist in NYC who takes insurance or does private visits without charging me a ridiculous $400$167 just for a consultation.

Looks like I'm dealing with some scalp seborrheic dermatitis.😛

Thanks.

Does anyone have any experience with the Svletlost clinic?

Personally, I would suggest Dr. Henč.
A colleague of mine had surgery at Svletlost and she was quite satisfied with the results.

If we are talking about the Student Clinic, I recall coming across an article—though I can't seem to locate it at this moment—suggesting they have expanded to several different locations while maintaining their original phone numbers.

It looks like I'm dealing with scalp seborrheic dermatitis😛anic:

Thanks

Every dermatologist employs their own specific methodology (with varying degrees of success), but if you are managing seborrheic dermatitis, you might find relief using Ducray Kelual DS shampoo during acute flare-ups, followed by Biokap anti-dandruff shampoo for long-term maintenance. Additionally, it is wise to minimize stress and avoid highly spicy foods. After consulting several specialists and testing various medications and topical products, this has proven to be the most effective regimen for me.

Does ANYONE know a good infectious disease specialist or an immunologist in Washington, D.C. (maybe near the Mayo Clinic or Vinogradsky)? We’re dealing with a really complicated situation in my family right now... it's pretty much a make-or-break thing. Please PM me if you have a lead.

I need to get my kid in for a checkup and a cardiac ultrasound with a cardiologist (looking for a private specialist). If anyone here has gone personally or taken their child to one, please shoot me a DM—I’d love to hear about your experience and, more importantly, what the damage to my wallet will be. Ideally looking for someone in the NYC area. Thanks!
