macOS update

I'm running macOS Monterey. Everything was working perfectly until yesterday, but today this pops up whenever I hit the macOS update button. Anyone got a clue what's going on?

Follow these steps and you’ll be fine.

Don't bother renaming the filter. Just wipe everything inside it instead.

So I tried running that first command, net stop wuauserv, and my computer just threw this at me:

The macOS update service is not started

Just wipe everything inside the Software distribution folder and trigger the macOS update.
