Major issues with Google Drive

I set up an account and installed "Google Drive" on my computer and logged in with my info.
After that, I saw the Google Drive folder on my PC and moved some docs, photos, MP3s, etc., into it.
Then I clicked the Google Drive icon on the taskbar and selected goto onedrive.com, which opened a browser saying "your onedrive is empty"
Why is it empty when the icon says onedrive uploading ....
It’s been over 24 hours since it started uploading, but there's nothing in the browser—not even one file.

Maybe check online to see if it ended up sitting in the trash bin.

This isn't even worth complaining about. I honestly can't believe this is actually happening.

How many gigabytes are you trying to upload?

What kind of broadband internet service are you using?

I'm currently using a standard broadband internet service.
To be fair, I've reinstalled macOS about five times over the last week and never had an issue, but ever since this most recent reinstall, things have been acting up.

Just so you know, I've reinstalled macOS five times over the last week and never had an issue, but this problem started right after my most recent reinstall.

Try canceling all active uploads first...
Restart your computer, then try uploading a single small image under 5 MB... wait a few minutes, and then check if it successfully uploaded.

Is your synchronization actually turned on?

I just restarted my computer and tried dropping a single photo (about 117 Kb) into my Google Drive folder, but still nothing. In the browser, it just says "your Google Drive is empty"

Does the upload function work for you if you use a web browser?

You might want to try reinstalling the Google Drive sync application.

So I just tried uploading a photo through the browser and it worked fine.
I'm gonna go ahead and try reinstalling Google Drive now.

It looks like it’s finally uploading, which is a relief because that was driving me crazy. I have no idea why it wasn't working before.
