I was reading somewhere that people over in St. Louis are dealing with a massive headache regarding pigeons—they’re everywhere, nesting on balconies and just constant fouling everything in sight. And it isn't just the residential areas; the tree-lined streets have become breeding grounds for crows that are basically swarming entire blocks! It’s getting ridiculous—not only are they making a mess of the sidewalks, but they’re actually diving at pedestrians passing by, not to mention the absolute nightmare of bird droppings covering every single car parked on the street. I distinctly remember being a kid and this just wasn't an issue back then. Apparently, the "experts" claim these birds have turned the city into a perfect sanctuary where they have virtually no natural predators, so they just breed uncontrollably. To make matters worse, since these animals are protected under certain wildlife laws, there’s almost nothing the city can legally do about it—except for some half-baked attempts at installing these ultrasonic devices that supposedly mimic the sounds of predators like eagles. As if that would actually work!👍
