Meetup ideas for Dr. Phil's forum members

I’ll give it a shot... I usually get hit with this wave of anxiety when I’m facing a group of total strangers who all seem to already be best friends... I actually tried to sign up twice before but just chickened out at the last second 🤦 but honestly, it feels a little less daunting knowing I won't be the only new face in the room 😁

Yesterday, goldencanyon6 and others were coming at me with some nonsense and being quite rude. I'm not sure what their deal was, but I'm a human being and I won't tolerate people acting superior to me. If they have personal issues to work through (which seems obvious), they should probably go see a professional.

As for who wants to hang out with people like that, fine. Not me. They seem like bitter, malicious types who hate everything, including themselves.

So, is everyone just toxic, obsessed, and whatever else people say? Look, you can't possibly be everyone's cup of tea—it’s just not realistic. It works both ways, too; you aren't going to like every single person you meet, either. That's just how life goes—you'll find common ground with some, and you'll clash with others...

I don't think there's a single sane person on this planet who feels comfortable dropping into a group where everyone already knows each other—so don't sweat it too much. Besides, after you show up once, they won't exactly be strangers anymore. 🙂

It’s not that they're everyone, I just don't want to be around them. If there were ways to hang out without them, that would be fine. But as it stands, it's just not worth the stress.

I just scouted out Central Park and here’s the deal:

This spot could totally be our starting point for the hunt.
Right where you turn off Pennsylvania Avenue onto Damir Tomljanović street—just past that big intersection and right across from the bus stop—you’ve got the JPMorgan Chase building, which has a Walmart inside that stays open until 9:00 PM, all tucked into that massive Bundek residential and business complex. There's also a Kroger open till 9:00 PM and a Target that sticks around until 11:00 PM, but honestly, that Walmart is your best bet if you're hanging around the Bundek area.
If you take the bus from the station, it drops you off right after you pass Churchill Downs on the right.
The only thing is, I haven't figured out which specific line is actually going to get us there without a headache. 🕺

Ourajt Fliss... we'll be at that Walmart around 7 PM... then by 8, we're heading over toward Central Park.

Btw. Which ones suit you guys better? We can just meet up at the Main Station around 7.

They might even set up a massive jumbotron so we can actually watch the game live from Hard Rock Stadium. 🙂
It’s gonna be about a four-hour marathon of pure chaos... basically right when the fireworks show wraps up.

Look, we don't have to hit a club. There are plenty of spots and events happening all over Washington, D.C. 🎉 Or we could just grab some drinks at someone's place 🤣

I just wanted to tell you that you'll feel totally understood and accepted by everyone at the gathering. Whether we meet up this week or some other time doesn't really matter. For all of us, that first meet was a little 😲 bit awkward, but that's exactly why the second 😍 is so much better.
