This whole thing has turned into one massive, endless debate that just won't die down. Honestly, I'm asking the mods and admins to just kick me off—ban me or delete my previous posts if you have to.

It’s just not right. It’s totally unfair. Just hand out the ban and be done with it. If they go the route of deleting the whole profile, it completely guts every single thread you ever contributed to. There is zero logic in that.

It’s not even that. People just feel the need to comment on every single thing I post. I’m just trying to be helpful, but they immediately jump down my throat about legalities and specific statutes. Look, I didn't write the laws.

I wasn't looking for a handout. I just wanted to be part of the community, try to help out, and avoid the constant infighting.

Some people here just live to contradict you, desperate to prove some kind of point.
To me, it’s all nonsense. Everything I've posted has been straight from the legal code or official government filings... yet certain long-time members chime in with "critiques" like they're the ones who wrote the laws.
I know enough about the law to tell when people are acting like they're sitting on the Supreme Court.
If I helped someone out, fine. But I'm done wasting breath on arguments that lead nowhere and spread misinformation.😕

Look, the deal is pretty simple: if you decide you aren't interested in hanging out on the forum anymore, then you just stop showing up. It's that easy.
As far as your old posts go, there’s absolutely no way they're getting deleted. If we started scrubbing everything, everyone who ever actually had a conversation with you would end up looking like total idiots, just shouting into the void with nothing left to respond to.

Look, I get that you can't just delete posts if someone wants them gone, but I’ve never understood why we can't just permanently ban them if that's what they're asking for. It’s probably just a handful of people, and then everyone stays happy 🤷

Unless banning someone is some massive, complicated ordeal... which I highly doubt...

You can delete posts for a certain amount of time, sure, but the account stays active. That’s my point. I already said we should just have them banned. It's just plain stupid.
