Sure, it would sound "prettier," but right now half of it is just noise and melody instead of pure melody—and they actually have the talent for the melody, not that I'm trying to suck up to them.

AC/DC is an absolute masterpiece of a record 👍

I think I’m going to keep listening to it on loop until every single track feels like my favorite song of all time—and then, once I hit that point, I'll probably just start all over again with Anonymous 😍

Don't know much about them, but I know "Come Clarity"—one of the best melodic metal tracks I've ever heard. Other than that, I'm clueless. I don't have the time to sit around researching bands. I listen to pretty much everything live, just nothing country.😁

LOL, then you haven't heard anything, because that track is garbage.

Man, I used to listen to them all the time—well, I still do, but it was definitely more frequent back in the day. Trigger and Light and Shadow were always solid; those are the newer ones. I’m starting to lose my grip on some of the older stuff, but overall, they're great.

Man, I love them!!! Seriously, they're incredible. My absolute favorites have to be Death Eternity, Episode 666, and that one bonus track—they just hit different... ! I'm obsessed.

Uh-huh, WRONG! The album is amazing 🙏

The album feels fresh and original. They didn't just recycle their old stuff.
Anders' clean vocals have improved; they finally sound like actual singing rather than what we've heard before.
The growls still feel a bit too high-pitched and lack some punch, though there are moments where they hit the mark (like on Enter tragedy or A New Day).
The guitars are good. Solid, but not quite great. There are plenty of riffs, but maybe not enough leads. That said, the leads that are actually there are really strong. You can definitely hear Brad's influence—he’s mentioned before that his heart belongs to 80s heavy metal (Ozzy Osbourne, Deep Purple, etc.).
The bass, which usually sits in the background in Metallica, actually stands out a bit more on this record.
Drums are good. Unfortunately, Smith isn't fully utilizing his range here (not quite reaching the levels he hit back in Sin City in the 90s).
Overall production? Way better than on AC/DC.
A few tracks feel like they belong to a non-metal band; they don't really fit the mold of classic metal ballads.
All in all, it's a solid album. It's much moodier and less upbeat than AC/DC. That one felt full of anthem-style party tracks, but this album has a completely different vibe.

Secret in my Closet 😍 isn't usually my go-to, but this one actually caught my eye, so I started digging... honestly, their latest record just doesn't hit the same way as the older stuff, feels kind of "thin," like they maybe should've spent a bit more time polishing it up

but hey, you can't really expect them to stay exactly the same for twenty years... staying that creative and hitting those same highs forever is a tall order 🙂

Man, I can't believe how much Metallica has turned into total garbage over these last two albums... it's honestly such a letdown 😢
It just feels like there's absolutely nothing left of the music I spent years absolutely loving...
