Why are Ambrosia and phanatique allowed to keep being disrespectful to other forum members?
Look, they’re dragging back the exact same debate that got me a warning—which, granted, was eventually cleared from my record.
So, how does this work? How is it possible that right after slybison8's warnings, they’re back at it the very next day, replying to threads that have already been flagged as off-topic?

To be specific, I'm talking about these posts:
First, Second

I’m apparently not allowed to react to provocations, yet they can just keep posting whatever they want even after a moderator issues a warning and I get hit with a card? 🤷

Yeah, clearly we’re seeing some top-tier objectivity here.

Is Charles Fox10 actually going to hand them a warning? I really wonder. Actually, I already know the answer.

Or did I just offend someone else again? 🤷

If these posts are fair game, then I guess I can jump in and weigh in on them too? If so, fine by me!

So, let me get this straight: Charles Fox10 is out here nuking posts that break the rules, yet somehow, I'm the only one getting flagged?
There you have it—that’s the "impartiality" we can expect from this moderator.
He wipes away anything he personally dislikes (assuming it isn't against the rules), while my posts—which clearly just happen to clash with his personal opinions—get slapped with warnings?
What kind of criteria is being used here, and why is it always my content that ends up in the crosshairs?

Can anyone actually give me an answer? Because honestly, I'm starting to wonder what the point of this subforum even is if this is how it works.

Hello Nicholas Chavez37,

I believe you were issued a warning previously. However, I am somewhat unsure about the issue regarding these three specific posts you have flagged. At first, I assumed they were directed at you, but looking closer, it seems they are discussing some singer within the context of the cultural debate you originally initiated on this topic.

I don't really see a reason to penalize any of those three posts; my previous warning—and the amnesty granted for past posts—was intended only for those highly bizarre, unproductive threads that devolved into pure bickering. It feels to me like those three posts haven't reached that point yet. Or perhaps I might have overlooked something? 😕

slybison8 said:Look, Nicholas Chavez37,

I get why you got flagged earlier. But honestly, I don't see what the big deal is with these three specific posts you pointed out. At first, I thought people were targeting you, but looking closer, they’re just discussing some singer within the context of the culture debate you actually started.

I don't see any reason to ban any of those three posts. My previous warning—and the fact that I'm granting amnesty for past stuff—was strictly about those bizarre, useless threads that devolved into nothing but petty bickering. It looks like those three posts have moved past that. Or am I missing something here? 😕

Of course you don't "see" it, because I wasn't the one who wrote it. If I had been the author, some moderator would have stepped in already.

In those threads, they started attacking my personal taste and questioning how I could be so "uncivilized" for mentioning that a certain museum in New York City isn't operating.
That was a direct shot at me. Besides, if there's absolutely nothing wrong with those posts, then why the hell were they deleted in the first place? 🤷

Fine. Next time I'll respond, and I'll have Chuckie send over links to the posts he won't be flagging.

Honestly, his way of judging posts is pretty twisted. I previously mentioned that a certain nation is lagging behind when it comes to equality, and he took that as hate speech.

So, there you have it. That's "objectivity" for you. ☕

Those posts somehow turned into an attack on my taste. Apparently, mentioning that a certain museum in New York City was closed was considered uncouth.
It felt like a direct hit on me. Besides, if there was nothing wrong with those posts, why were they deleted? 🤷

His way of judging posts is rather bizarre, honestly. I previously mentioned that a certain nation lags behind regarding equality, and he took that as hate speech.

So much for objectivity. ☕

Don't bother sending me links; I certainly don't moderate based on personal whims. Why would anyone send links to a primitive, narrow-minded moderator who clearly dislikes you and hands out bans just to enforce stupid rules? Just report the post.

And as for the record, you didn't get a ban for hate speech—that would imply a week-long suspension. You got banned for breaking the rules, which I requested, and I provided the reason.

And from what I can see, you're still obsessing over that 500-point thing... and this post specifically.

I used the term "primitive Catholic."
That implies the majority of the American population is both primitive and Catholic. I wasn't linking Catholicism to being primitive at all.
Naturally, there are minorities like Muslims, but expecting any kind of rational thought from them is probably asking too much.

.

Sure, this post is perfectly fine. Great.

Just report the post.

And regarding the strike—it wasn't a hate speech violation, because that would have triggered a week-long suspension. It was a rule violation strike, which was pulled because I requested it and provided the reasoning.

Who exactly is even sending you links? 🙄
The reality is that you targeted me specifically with that strike, while people posting all sorts of nonsense walked away scot-free. 😉
That alone tells you everything you need to know about you.

All you ever do is hand out strikes to anyone who disagrees with you.

I will gladly open an appeal thread every single time you slap me with a strike, because 90% of the time, I’ll be able to prove you were wrong. 😉

It’s honestly laughable that your approval is required to overturn a strike (which implies the admin team is just following your lead?), especially when the strike itself was issued in direct violation of the rules. For instance, phantique and the rest didn't get hit with anything. Why weren't they penalized?
Why are their off-topic posts merely deleted, while mine result in actual punishments that only get cleared once I go through the hassle of opening an appeal? 🤷

It is deeply concerning to see a moderator acting with such blatant bias, not to mention your illiterate posts are giving me a migraine. ☕

P.S. This whole thread is pointless now because it's impossible to believe in any objective action from the moderation team.
So, feel free to close this thread.

I agree that moderators often lack objectivity, but I’d love to actually see you be impartial. That’s a tall order. We’re human. We have biases. I haven't been a moderator on this forum myself (I just signed up 😁), but I know how difficult it is to stay neutral every single time—especially when you consider this PDF 🙂
.
I'm not taking the moderator's side here, but I'm not taking yours either.

Of course I can't be perfectly objective, fine.
But your post was actually quite charming, so I'll go out of my way to refrain from being insulting in this reply. 😁 😍
