Alright folks, I’ve run into a bit of a snag here
if anyone can walk me through how to use Microsoft to burn an image file onto a CD? I could really use a deep dive into the process—someone please break it down step-by-step for me, because my version of the software is set to a language I don't speak!

You just head over to the data transfer section and drag in whatever you want to save—since "data" covers pretty much everything, from photos and videos to music and even random apps...
Honestly, though, Nero is probably your best bet for getting it done easily.

Sure, there's plenty of wisdom in burning stuff to a disc, but using Microsoft is a hassle when you could just use Nero, considering how much bloatware is packed into those massive, unnecessary programs.😁 🍿



Nero Burning ROM, along with the rest of that suite, is still available as far as I can tell; they’ve just made the whole registration and license key process unnecessarily complicated, which people have already discussed in the thread below, or you can just grab the standalone software.☕

I’ve actually put a link at the bottom of the page, so if you scroll down, you can find the free keys to bypass that annoying registration mess, and anyone who needs them can just download and use the programs.😁 ☕

During the installation, it tries to push my Google toolbar on you, which is completely useless, and it does this for every single program in the bundle, so just make sure to uncheck those boxes if you're the type of person who usually installs everything quickly without paying attention.☕

I already pointed out how to burn stuff using Nero. But I guess some people act like that’s some groundbreaking life hack, otherwise they wouldn't be asking about it here, right? 😁
I've been burning pretty much every format I need with Nero for ages now, and honestly, it’s never given me a single headache. As for Microsoft, I’m not really feeling it—just old habits, I guess. 😳

I haven't come across that specific option anywhere in Microsoft, though I know Nora has had it since version 7.

"Burning" is just their way of describing the process of recording data onto a disc, whether you call it burning or writing, so I suppose it's all a matter of semantics.🙂🍿

I’m leaning toward thinking he was talking about the CD cover too... at least that’s how it hit me when I first read it. But hey, let’s just hang tight and see if he actually chimes back in 🙂

Haha, and maybe some smoked sausage to throw on the grill at 48x speed 😁 I just hope my Apple's ROM is compatible with that format 🤔

Anyway, does he actually mean an ISO (image) format when he says that? 🤷
It's easy to get tripped up by that terminology, especially if you're just starting out.

Adobe has that feature in Studio 9, so I'm guessing it's in 10 too.🙂
