After I handed out that ban on the Ectomorph vs. Mesomorph thread (the one with the PDF about soccer), I went ahead and dropped this post:

crimsonscout19 said:I guess Zlatan Ibrahimović totally crushed that old stereotype during yesterday's Sweden-England match! He proved once again that being tall and big doesn't mean you can't be super agile, fast, and coordinated like people always claim. 😢
I guess Zlatan Ibrahimović is definitely the player of the year, and honestly, he’s probably a sign of where football is heading—big, powerful guys. It feels like when you've got someone like him on the squad, it's almost like playing with an extra man! 👍

Right after that, Anthony Jackson2 jumps in with a reply:

Anthony Jackson2 said:Looks like you're still pulling off those crazy stunts! I guess maybe you just can't help yourself, haha!I guess football is probably gonna be dominated by these massive, powerhouse players in the future, though you look at someone like Lionel Messi and realize he’s still likely the best player out there right now! 🙂

I didn't want to clog up the thread, so I just sent Anthony Jackson2 a DM instead:

Hey there! Hope you're having a great night!

I guess maybe we could say that he’s just on another level entirely! Honestly, I think it's pretty wild how much better he is than everyone else.
Hey mods, what kind of gymnastics am I supposed to be doing here? I don't really get what was so controversial about my post that you're giving me grief over!

Sent at 5:19 PM.

I mean, I guess since Anthony Jackson2 was online at least twice—judging by the posts he put up in the meantime— Post one! I guess I'll just drop the second post here! Hope you guys like it!Man, he didn't even come close to replying to my DM as fast as he hits up my posts! I guess I'll just call him out here—hey, let us know what you actually think about this! Looks like you're still out there pulling off those crazy stunts! I guess!.

What kind of crazy stunts do you think I'm pulling now, Anthony Jackson2?
Look, this isn't exactly news to me—you've been pushing my buttons before. I feel like you were lowkey trying to bait me into an argument a few times right before you got banned, just to see if you could get a reaction out of me. Maybe you're just looking for drama?

What's even the big deal with my post? I don't get why you're trying to drag me into this or lecture me, I guess!

First off, I don't owe you a reply to your DM within five minutes—or at all, for that matter. Whether I respond is entirely up to me. If you have a grievance, the PŽK is the place for it, which you seem to have figured out on your own. Bravo. Now, did this really warrant its own thread? I'm not sure, but if it makes you feel better, go ahead. That’s for the admins to decide.

Believe it or not, I'm a forum user just like everyone else—it's just that I happen to have a few extra tools in my kit. As such, I can write whatever I want and think whatever I want, provided I don't break any sub-forum rules. I'm subjective, so I won't claim my posts aren't ban-worthy—again, let the people above me make that call. Yes, I can get a warning just like you; having a black username doesn't mean I'm above the law.

As for the post itself, the real acrobatics here is you doubling down on those "expert" theories of yours—even though it's painfully obvious you aren't an expert at all. Honestly, even in my own post, I dismantled your theory about what future players will look like just because Zlatan Ibrahimović is some kind of football genius.

You jumped into this forum acting like some big-shot expert, looking down on other users and famous American coaches alike. Of course, based on how your discussions have gone, it’s becoming increasingly clear that you aren't just lacking expertise—you largely have no clue what you're talking about. Regarding our debate, I recall asking you to explain the traits of a mesomorph build, and you responded with "use Google, I charge for my knowledge." 😕 So, after presenting a thesis about a player with a mesomorphic build in your opening post, you give me that answer when I ask a logical question. Everything that followed from my side was simply a reaction to your arrogance. And I don't recall getting a single warning there, so I assume I wasn't saying anything I shouldn't have—and back then, I wasn't a mod, so anyone could have flagged me.

Then there's that thread about Luka Modrić, where you wrote, "Luka Modrić doesn't know how to take a shot, only a strike..." I pointed out you were talking nonsense because a shot *is* a strike, to which you started rambling about some regional dialect. Naturally, that was immediately debunked by your own logic, since you then claimed you meant to say, "Luka Modrić doesn't know how to take a strike, only a shot..." which is even more ridiculous than your first attempt. I'll admit I matched your arrogance when you brushed me off regarding the mesomorph question, but if you're going to act like that toward others, expect the same in return.

I didn't even warn you in that post—I'm using red text to warn you now—nor did I drag you into anything. I simply stated my opinion, along with a little personal observation.

Anthony Jackson2 said:Honestly, regarding your post, the real acrobatics here is you jumping back into those "expert" theories, even though it’s pretty obvious you aren't an expert at all, I guess!

What exactly do you mean by "acrobatics" in my post? Maybe just grab someone up there and tell me how it's off-topic?

What's this supposed "expert theory" where he calls my take "acrobatics"? It’s just my personal opinion within the discussion—calling it some kind of formal thesis is honestly such a reach!

Anthony Jackson2 said:You basically stormed into this football thread acting like some kind of expert (CUT), and honestly, everything that's happened since then on my end is just a result of you being so cocky.
Anyway, back to the topic of Luka Modrić!

How long are you gonna keep bringing this up? It’s over, man—done and dusted. I already took my lumps! I got hit with a red card, 250 violations that won't expire until next year, plus a three-day ban. What else do you want from me? You really gonna keep rubbing 2006 in my face??

Look, I’m not interested in digging up the past or making the same mistakes twice, so I guess if you're acting as both a member and a mod, maybe just stop bringing up the stuff that got me banned in the first place!

Anthony Jackson2 said:Look, I didn't even try to warn you in that post—not like I was shouting it in red letters or anything! And I definitely wasn't trying to drag you into anything. I was just sharing my take, you know? Just throwing in a little personal side note, I guess.

Wait, what? So when you're trying to give someone a heads-up, you actually write it in red letters? I guess maybe that's your thing!
So why did Chiro say that, when I actually asked him... I guess maybe he was just thinking out loud?

crimsonscout19 I guess he's saying:
I don't get why you guys have to go straight to punishing me... I guess if you’d just given me a polite heads-up, I probably would've realized my mistake right away! But instead, it's just an immediate red card, lost points, and a ban. Total bummer!

So, you're really trying to prove me wrong about getting banned without any warning?? I guess maybe you think you've got me there!

Chiro23 said:Wait, you didn't even get a warning? I guess maybe they just let it slide this time! Anthony Jackson2 So, did Fred really not say anything at all on those threads? I guess maybe he just stayed quiet, huh?

Does Chiro know that you haven't sent any of my posts in red? I guess!

So, does that mean all those things you were throwing at me personally in your posts before the ban wasn't actually an official moderator warning? Since you were using black text instead of red, I guess it was just your own opinion as a user? You were basically just trying to bait me and push me onto thin ice, Anthony Jackson2!

Look, I’m honestly just asking you to let me be, man. Seriously, maybe instead of coming at me, you could go test those theories on the people who can't stop replying to every single thing I post every two days? You haven't found some troll or provocateur here; you just ran into someone with a different opinion. If I don't think Luka Modrić belongs at Real Madrid and you do, then maybe just back off and leave me out of it!

What exactly is "acrobatics" in my post? Pick one from above and tell me how it's off-topic.

Calling it a "professional thesis" is a stretch—it’s just my opinion within the discussion. Let's not get carried away with these labels.

The "acrobatics" part is claiming Zlatan Ibrahimović is the prototype for the future of soccer—a claim you can't back up, other than using the guy himself. And he can't be the prototype, given his agility comes from years of Taekwondo as a kid, despite his build.

Explain why my comment bothers you so much. Sure, maybe I shouldn't have said it, but it's not that deep—there are millions of players like him out there. Honestly, I'm more interested in why you didn't address the actual point. If Zlatan is the blueprint for the modern player, how do you explain the fact that Lionel Messi—the best player on the planet—is practically his physical opposite, and he's younger too?

How long are you going to keep bringing this up? It's over—I took my lumps. Red card, 250 infractions pending for next year, plus a three-day ban. What else do you want? You going to dig up posts from 2006??

I'm not revisiting it, and I'm not repeating mistakes. As a member and a moderator, just stop dragging me back to the stuff I already got punished for.

You're the one who started talking about me provoking you, not me.🤷

Or are we talking about something else?

Excuse me? You think when you give warnings, you write them in red text?
So why did Chiro, when I asked...

...use you to try and debunk my claim that I was banned without warning??

Yeah, like any other moderator, official warnings are sent in colored text.

Half the soccer world would tell you to chill out and stop the nonsense (like that Dražen Petrović thing), but if you refuse to take anyone seriously and think you're smarter than everyone else, that's on you.🤷

Does Chiro know that you haven't sent me a single post in red?

You're asking me?

That means you were playing games, baiting me and putting me on thin ice, Anthony Jackson2!

If I did (which I didn't—I just told you that you look ridiculous), you could have just reported the posts and been done with it. No need to come after me for nothing.
Look, I’m calling it now—just leave me alone. Seriously, go test your patience on the people who feel the need to reply to my every single post from the last forty-eight hours instead of targeting me. You haven't "found" a troll or a provocateur; you just ran into someone with a different opinion. If I don't think Luka Modrić belongs at Real Madrid and you do, then fine—just back off and stop coming for me.
No, I’ve identified either a troll or someone who doesn't have a clue what they're talking about—take your pick. Anyone who's read your posts in the Luka Modrić thread can see that. Besides, you got flagged partly because of that, and I wasn't the one who did it; some other moderator was. So much for the idea that I'm the problem. 🙂

And I'm certainly not going to leave you alone—as a moderator, I can't, as long as you're posting in my section. If you're trying to use this back-and-forth within the PŽK to score some special treatment where I'd just ignore your posts, forget it. If you can't handle people responding to you, stay off the forum—it exists for an exchange of ideas.

crimsonscout19 said:I guess Zlatan Ibrahimović is basically... a preview of how soccer will look in the future—tall and powerful. It feels like when you have a guy like him on the pitch, it’s like playing with an extra man.👍

Anthony Jackson2 said:Calling it acrobatics is just saying Ibrahimović is the prototype for the players who will dominate the sport later on, even if you don't really have any proof for it,

Global average height: 5'6''
Median calculated from this source

We all know most elite players today are taller than that 5'6'' average, whether we're talking about Ibrahimović at 6'5'', or looking at the typical rosters for Real Madrid, Man Utd, Liverpool FC, Bayern Munich, and the top 20 national teams. Unlike 30 years ago when everyone was closer to Lionel Messi's height of around 5'6", most top-tier players now are much taller. To me, that's enough reason to think bigger players represent the future. I wouldn't call it "acrobatics"—it's just the most logical conclusion once you compare today's stars to the global average and look back at how players used to be.

It isn't "another bit of acrobatics from crimsonscout19," it's just his opinion based on logic during a discussion on the right thread!

I'm definitely not looking for special treatment, I just wish you'd stop assuming everything I write is some kind of exaggeration or provocation.

Great players define the past, present, and future. But Ibrahimović isn't just "great"—he’s a massive dude, nearly 2 meters tall and 220 pounds. On top of that, his coordination and agility given those physical specs are almost unreal. You won't see many players like him because he’s a total outlier. Being tall isn't the same thing as being a beast like Ibrahimović.

There have always been taller players, but it’s usually the shorter ones who actually make the difference and become legends—think Ferenc Puskás, Pelé, Thomas Müller, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi... you get the idea. Sure, there were taller geniuses like Eric Cantona, Zidane, or Ronaldinho who will always be remembered. But you can't really argue that the current trend means big players will be the key to the future when the best player on the planet is basically a tiny, razor-sharp specialist. I mean, sure, you can talk about it, but don't act surprised when people think it sounds unbelievable—or just plain ridiculous—like it does to me here. 🤷

Hopefully we're done with this, because this really isn't the place for soccer debates. Or is there something else bothering you?

I honestly don't get why this appeal was even opened in the first place. Anthony Jackson2 wasn't even acting in a moderator capacity here; he was just sharing his own opinion as a regular user. Using the word "acrobatics" isn't an insult, it's not trolling, and it certainly isn't spam. I'm lost. What are we actually discussing here, and what's the point of any of this?

I’m totally with you on this one. It wasn't some formal moderator warning, and honestly, it wasn't even major enough to warrant a massive debate over on the PŽK. crimsonscout19, seriously, come find us if you actually run into a real issue with a moderator's decision.
