Regarding that card you were complaining about on Reddit, my colleague already explained the reasoning to you. I have nothing more to add, and they aren't being rescinded.

Besides, there's no need to play the hero and defend her. She can hold her own just fine when it counts.

By the way, there is absolutely no need for any colleague to play the musketeer and attempt to defend her; she is more than capable of holding her own whenever the situation demands it.

I see no reason to waste my breath commenting on this colleague anymore. One only needs to glance at the sheer volume of threads on Reddit or the news outlets that feature his name in the headlines to understand the situation.

I just got flagged for trolling in a thread about the Convention on Violence Against Women for this specific post:

I'm curious: if I hadn't included my initial sarcastic remark, would sharing a link that interprets the fallout of the Convention—which is clearly being circulated in certain religious circles to drum up opposition—still be labeled as trolling?

Maybe it would stay, maybe it wouldn't, but honestly, it’d probably just get nuked anyway since we only allow that kind of "conspiracy theory" nonsense over on the Edge of Science subreddit...

I’ll admit, I don’t claim to fully grasp the mechanics of it all—I’m not out here spinning my own conspiracy theories from scratch—I just tend to point out where they already exist. But fine... I won't go looking for another headache.
