Monitor issues - help needed!

Hey everyone, you guys always come through when I'm stuck, so I'm hoping for some help once again here. 😁
I’m running into an issue with a monitor on one of my rigs. Everything seems fine when I shut down the PC normally, but when I go to power it up the next morning, there's just no image. 😲
The setup uses an EVGA GeForce GTX 5870 as the GPU, paired with a Dell UltraSharp W2443T monitor.
The power button on the monitor stays lit, which makes me think the computer isn't sending a signal, yet the screen doesn't even display a "NO SIGNAL" message or anything similar. Right now, I've got a generic monitor hooked up that works perfectly fine.
Do you think this could be a faulty cable on the Dell, or is the monitor itself ready to head to the great junkyard in the sky? 🤣?

So, did you finally get everything sorted out? Is the monitor actually behaving itself now? There’s a chance that the cable just wiggled loose from the motherboard, kind of like what happened to me when I was cleaning my rig...

I managed to get it sorted out at the repair shop. Apparently, some capacitor or whatever had swollen up and blown out, 🤷
Look, I’m no electrician, so I can't give you the technical specifics, but the bottom line is that it's working again. 😛

So, last night I shut down my monitor before heading to bed while a download was still running. This morning, it won't turn on. Everything was working perfectly fine before that.
Is it dead for good? Or could something else be happening?😳 😢
