My computer keeps adding extra letters to my words

Anyone know what's going on here?
Whenever I type in a Windows program, the computer inserts random letters into my words and makes them look like gibberish. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

Which specific program are you using? Could you be a bit more specific? If it's Google Search or Microsoft Office, you probably have some advanced predictive text or autocorrect feature turned on. It should be fairly easy to disable.

It turns out the issue was rooted in my BIOS settings. Once I performed a BIOS update, everything returned to normal. Before realizing this, I had wasted money buying a brand-new keyboard, thinking that was the culprit. It appeared entirely out of nowhere, but the update finally put an end to it.
