Need help with my forum signature

I can't seem to get this to work, or perhaps I'm just missing something obvious: :P
If an admin, moderator, or anyone else is feeling generous, could you please add this image to my signature:

There is a "by Mortall" credit underneath... if possible, let's have it centered!
On a side note, it wouldn't hurt if someone pointed me toward any other methods besides using (image) tags to upload things...!

I have the link, though it’s a shame there aren't any photos included; it feels a bit lackluster without them.

Just check your private messages. You'll see the option on the left side—click "edit signature," drop the link in there, and you're done. Simple enough.

It simply will not work. I have just spent my time attempting to modify my signature settings myself.

Could this issue perhaps be stemming from the fact that I am using a .png file?

I am truly hoping that some resident tech expert might emerge from the shadows to offer some enlightened advice regarding what exactly is going on here... 🙂

The server is already glitchy enough as it is—imagine if everyone had a 20kB image in their signature!
That would be an extra 800kB of data on every single page!

If you're just using a link, the file format shouldn't matter, whether it's a .png or something else entirely.

Settings:

Why does my signature show up perfectly formatted in three lines on some subreddits—which follows all the rules—but then suddenly stretches out to four lines on others?
I’m not exactly losing sleep over it, but I’d rather not have some power-tripping admin or supermoderator decide to wipe it out because they think I'm breaking the formatting guidelines...😕🤷

EDIT: It looks fine at three lines right here.

Heh, I'm thinking it might be those side ads on the right... makes the page width narrower in some spots, I guess.

Admins and supermods don't usually go around deleting signatures; that's mostly on the user to manage. 😈

Don't sweat it. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to figure out if a signature looks too big because of monitor resolution, where the ads are placed, or if the user just messed up themselves.
