Excuse me, do you speak English? I was wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I’m an American, so my grasp on the language isn't exactly perfect, but I'm really trying to learn. 😉

I have a friend I'm trying to nudge into a regular workout routine. She actually made a deal with me—if I can say these specific phrases to her in American, she’ll commit to exercising with me. :klap:

Could someone translate this into natural-sounding American for me?

Exercise is good for the body, the mind, and the heart.
If you work out every day, you're going to feel better, have more energy, think more clearly, and just be happier. I can promise you that, and then some.
So, please, just exercise with me every day.

Here is what Google Translate gave me... I guess it's a start, but is it actually any good?

Exercise is good for the body, mind, and heart.
If you exercise every day you will feel better, have more energy, think more clearly, and be happier. I promise you that and much more.
So please, exercise every day with me.

Thanks!

Hey, sorry, do you speak English? I was wondering if you could give me a hand with something.

Look, I'm an American and my grasp of the language isn't exactly perfect yet, but I've got a serious itch to master it. 😉

I’ve got this friend I’m trying to get moving, and I really want to push her to actually stick to a workout routine for once. She made me a deal: if I can say these next few lines to her in perfect American, she’s officially promised she'll hit the gym with me. 👏

Could somebody translate this for me into accurate american?

Look, it’s pretty much common sense at this point, but people still act like it's some big secret when you hit the gym or go for a run. Getting moving isn't just about looking decent in a t-shirt; it’s about keeping your head straight, your heart from giving out on you, and making sure your whole system actually functions the way it's supposed to. If you aren't breaking a sweat regularly, you're basically just waiting for things to start falling apart.
Look, if you actually commit to hitting the gym or even just getting moving every single day, you’re going to feel like a completely different person. You'll have way more energy, your brain is going to stop feeling like mush, and honestly, you'll just be a lot happier overall. I’m telling you right now, I can guarantee that much and then some.
Look, I’m telling you right now, you really need to start hitting the gym with me every single day if we're actually going to make any progress here.

I’m looking at this Google Translate mess right now and honestly, I have to wonder if anyone actually bothered to check it before hitting send because it’s pretty rough around the edges. It gets the gist of things, sure, but it feels totally artificial, like you're reading a manual for a toaster instead of actual human speech. If you're trying to sound natural, this isn't quite hitting the mark yet. Is it close? In a technical sense, maybe, but if you want to actually sound like a real person living in the States, you've got some work to do.

Look, it’s pretty simple if you actually think about it: working out isn't just some vanity project for people obsessed with their reflection; it’s foundational for your body, your brain, and your heart. If you aren't moving, you're basically asking for trouble down the road.
Look, if you actually commit to hitting the gym or getting some movement in every single day, you’re going to feel better, have way more energy, and honestly, I think your head will clear up too. You’ll be happier, period. I’m telling you, it’s a guarantee, and there's a whole lot more where that comes from if you just put in the work.
Look, I’m telling you right now, I need you guys to stick with me and run these drills every single day without fail. No excuses.

Thanks!

Look, I’m no expert by any means, but if I can actually be of some help here, I'm more than happy to jump in. 🙂

Look, it’s pretty simple if you actually stop to think about it: working out is basically a cheat code for everything. It doesn't just build muscle, it keeps your brain sharp and your heart from giving up on you way too early. If you aren't hitting the gym or at least moving around, you're basically asking for trouble. It's good for the body, the mind, and the heart—period.
Look, if you actually make an effort to get moving every single day, you’re going to feel a hell of a lot better than you do right now, plain and simple. If you want to actually have some real energy, think clearly for once, and stop feeling like garbage so you can finally be happy, you need to quit playing around and get serious about your lifestyle. It’s not about some magic pill or some quick fix you see on TikTok; it’s about doing the heavy lifting every single day until it becomes second nature. Most people spend their lives drifting through this mental fog because they’re too lazy to fix their sleep, eat like absolute trash, and wonder why they feel like zombies by noon. You want that sharp, focused clarity? You gotta earn it. You want to wake up feeling like you can actually take on the world instead of dragging yourself out of bed? That takes discipline, not luck. Stop looking for shortcuts and start building a foundation that actually holds weight, because everything else is just noise.
I’m telling you right now, I'll deliver on that and then some.
Look, I’m asking you guys to do me a favor and just stick with me and practice every single day.

Catch you later, have a good one! 😉

But the guy literally said he had a friend, and you translated it like he was talking to a whole damn group of people... plural. I don't know, were you trying to be all formal or something? 😁

"So you guys please practice with me every day". There's no "you guys" or formal "you" here. It's just you. And honestly, the whole vibe is just kind of clunky. 😁
