...do you ever get that feeling where you have absolutely no clue what to do with yourself tomorrow? It comes with this underlying dread. Like, what am I even supposed to do with my life the day after tomorrow? What do I do with myself when there are no obligations and zero motivation to even get out of bed, leaving me alone with a head full of problems I don't know how to solve? People you can't escape... people you just want to vanish from. You'd rather pull a blanket over your head and pretend you don't exist just so nobody touches you. Waking up every morning in a state of panic, heart racing like I just finished a marathon in the early hours. Staring at the ceiling. More senseless thoughts. Life is at a standstill. I have to get up. I have to move. But I have no one to "help" me...🙂😢😢

First off, try to figure out who you want to be, what you want to own, and what you actually want to do with your life. Go back and read my main thread—it’s got a bunch of questions I laid out there—and try to answer them. They’re designed to help you dig up those answers you're looking for.

And look, just stop obsessing over yesterday or stressing about tomorrow. Seriously. Don't beat yourself up over the past and don't lose sleep over the future. Just focus on right now, because the present moment is what actually defines everything else. Even if you feel like total garbage and have zero motivation, just get out of bed and start chipping away at your goals and dreams. If you do even one small thing every single day to move the needle, you'll notice pretty quickly that you're making progress—and honestly, your luck and your drive will start picking up too 🙂

If your brain starts spiraling with all that useless noise, you can tackle it with meditation—it helps you find some actual inner silence and peace 🙂. It also helps with building up that awareness and self-control over your thoughts and emotions, which is huge.

Work on your discipline. It sounds cliché, but go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, hit the gym, stick to a schedule, and give yourself a little reward when you actually knock things out. Sometimes that first step feels like climbing Everest, but I promise it pays off—eventually, it gets easier and you'll just feel better overall. It's a massive boost for self-motivation, too. Honestly, just Google "discipline" and "self-motivation"—there's a ton of solid advice out there.

Start hunting for reasons to be grateful and happy, whether they're big or tiny. A sunrise, a killer meal, hanging out with your favorite people, learning something new... stuff like that. People think success leads to happiness, but they've got it backward—happiness is the foundation that builds success.

You can't always control the hand you're dealt in life, but you can absolutely choose how you react to it. Start by just accepting whatever happens, then aim to react as intelligently as you possibly can.

Hardly ever. Even when I'm just curled up in a fetal position under a heavy blanket, I still feel like I have a handle on things.

Well, technically, you don't *have* to do anything. The only thing that's strictly mandatory is dying. As for the whole "help" thing—yeah, that's usually how it goes. When life hits you hardest, nobody shows up. Honestly, I've come to embrace that "nobody's coming" mentality. At first glance, it looks like pure, unadulterated pessimism, but if you look closer, it's actually the greatest comfort one can find.

Do you have any book recommendations?🤷

There is a massive amount of useful material out there covering spirituality and psychology. I’ve personally burned through a ton of books focused on the secrets to happiness and hitting those big life goals, and honestly, it changed everything for me—but only once I actually started putting the theories into practice. 🙂

If you’re still wandering around without a clue what you actually want out of life, you should probably start with something like "The Success DNA." It’s a solid jumping-off point. Beyond that, dive into stuff about mindset, self-motivation, staying disciplined, being organized, learning how to let go, and all that good stuff.

And look, it isn't just books; there are endless helpful articles online and plenty of decent YouTube videos out there too. There’s really something for everyone if you know where to look. 🙂 Personally, I think movies can be pretty impactful as well—take something like "Peaceful Warrior," for example.

Now, if you’re looking for deep answers to those heavy-hitting life questions, just pick up the "Conversations with God" series by Walsh. Look, I don't know—and frankly, it doesn't even matter—whether he actually had a conversation with God or what. The point is, the books are packed with wisdom that can help just about anyone.

I usually know exactly what my schedule looks like 15 days from now.

Now I know what I'm doing tomorrow. The answer is nothing special, just more of the same stuff I was doing today, yesterday, and 15 days ago.
