Is there some kind of setting, maybe a little app or something, that would trigger a "you have new mail" popup or even an animation when an email hits my inbox? 😁 Or is that just stuff you see in movies? 😁

If you're using Gmail, just grab that Gmail Notifier tool. You install it, and it’ll chirp at you whenever something hits your inbox.😛 😁

I guess you could even set up Thunderbird to check your inbox every minute and give you a notification whenever a new email hits. 🙄

You’ve got this genius email client called AOL Mail where a butler basically serves your messages to you on a silver platter with a little note saying, "You have new mail." Honestly, I bet there’s even an option for a personal assistant to deliver your mail via carrier pigeon if you're feeling old-school...

Nah, IE doesn't have it. Microsoft Outlook does, sure, but that’s not really what I mean... 😁 It needs to be something specific. It's like how Equifax's AOL Mail used to have those unique little features—it used to drive me crazy sometimes. I can't quite remember the exact details, maybe just some pop-ups or random ads appearing... honestly, it was ages ago, probably like four or five years back...

If you're running Outlook, you get that little icon popping up by the clock in the taskbar, and then you hear that stupid *beep*... which, by the way, you can actually swap out for a different sound if you want.🙂

Why on earth would I? If anything, I should be getting a "moderator - worker" badge! Honestly, the IT side of things has been pretty quiet lately—not many questions coming in. But hey, if people start using outdated junk like Internet Explorer or old versions of Outlook without any updated antivirus or firewalls, then this whole tech support forum is going to absolutely explode!😁

I could try explaining the whole history behind my CUT, but honestly—what's the point? It feels like a total waste of time. And even if I wanted to dive into it, I can't exactly get a hold of any of the moderators anyway. 😁
