Nickname change request #2

Look, I’ve already put in a request once before to have my username changed, but I was told it wasn't possible because the handle I want is already taken. Well, now I’m looking at the situation and wondering... there is a user out there holding the exact nickname I’m after, yet they only have seven posts to their name and haven't been active on this forum in over two and a half years!

All I am asking for is to have those numbers stripped from my handle so it just reads GoGs777. That’s it... As for the other user, perhaps you could send them a notification or something... though I highly doubt they’ll ever respond, given it's clear they’ve completely forgotten this site even exists...

So, here I am, making the request one more time... Thank you in advance, regardless of how this turns out 🙂

That’s a solid point—I think I’d also prefer to drop the "instructor" part from the title...👍

This isn't some grand idea of mine, it’s more of a request... I made my first plea ages ago, but nothing ever came of it... and that user hasn't even been active since then until now. Nothing. And because of them, I'm stuck with a nickname that I want to change across all my forums...🙄

Just shoot a DM to the admin about what I asked for. I never actually got a response, but hey, give it a shot—you might find out that nobody even bothers to type a reply anymore.

You're totally off base. I know someone who completely changed their entire handle—it's got nothing to do with what they used before.

I am currently searching for someone using the handle Manuel, but there is absolutely nobody listed under that name. Right
here.
When I first signed up, I tried to claim Manuel, but the system told me it was already taken. So, I settled for __Manuel__, then eventually switched it to [Manuel]. But apparently, you only get one shot at changing your username. I've already used mine up. Now I'm stuck. I can't even revert back to Manuel if the original name doesn't actually exist. 😢

The days of changing your handle are officially over. Now, all I can do is mess around with upper and lowercase letters; the full-on nickname changes we used to have? Gone. Gone forever.
