😁 Thanks! And that goes for sailing, too! 🙂 Well, I suppose we could go for another party today, if anyone’s actually up for it. Not that I'm complaining, really.
Let’s be honest, we all know that most of us lurking on this thread aren't exactly living our best, most polished lives out there in the real world. 🙂

I suppose I'll just have to keep doing this until it finally becomes a habit, won't I? 😁
No problem at all. ...
If those ratios hold up, you can rest easy. 👍

It’s the exact same thing that went down at that concert in Russia; you can see that same raw emotion vibrating through the crowd there. I can't help but feel a sense of profound exhaustion whenever I think about those massive, chaotic rock festivals held out in the middle of nowhere, like those old monster shows they used to run in the outskirts of DC. There’s just something inherently draining about that level of organized mayhem.
Is it just me, or has modern music become completely devoid of any actual soul?
What exactly do you mean when you use the term "modern music"? It’s such an incredibly vague descriptor that I find myself wondering if we're even talking about the same thing.
So, I ordered some takeout right as my workday was wrapping up a few days ago, and then the delivery driver calls my cell. Honestly, I panicked a little—I thought maybe he’d collapsed in the lobby or something. I mean, sure, I live in a top-floor apartment, but it's only the third floor, not exactly a mountain climb. I actually asked him if he was alright or if I should call 911, which felt a bit dramatic of me, I suppose. He just told me, "No, no, I'm fine, I'm just completely exhausted and can't go any further... can we just meet halfway?"
So, I head down halfway through the hallway, and what do I run into? There he is, slumped over like a sack of flour, looking absolutely spent. He just stares at me and mutters about how exhausted he is, claiming he can't take another step and just needs to crash in bed and pass out.
Look, I already told him—just go, man, take a breather, everything is going to work out fine. Honestly, I’m totally on board with that, especially since I’m definitely not the delivery guy. 😁
I found myself laughing out loud, just there by myself.
