Occasional swelling and pressure on my right side—anyone experienced this?

Hey everyone... so, I noticed this thing the other day. Right on my right side, near the hip—just a bit higher up—there’s this swelling, like a little lump. It pops up and then immediately retreats. Now, it’s started happening regularly. There isn't any actual pain, though I’ve tried pushing it back in when it swells, but nothing happens. It shows up every single morning the moment I get out of bed. Every time. I just feel this weird pressure, but zero pain. I actually went in for an ultrasound, but they couldn't see a damn thing. They told me to come back for another exam once it's actually swollen, but the problem is, the lump only stays for maybe a minute before vanishing, so I can't exactly catch it in the act. I even had a full checkup done on my testicles to be safe. Lately, though, I've been feeling this dull ache in my left testicle sometimes, but there's no swelling there. I was thinking maybe it's a hernia, but wouldn't they have caught that on the ultrasound? The only other thing I've heard about is swollen lymph nodes—you know, those glands that get inflamed and cause swelling in the abdomen. So, here I am: it appears every morning, and then during the day, I’ll get that same pressure again, especially when I'm sitting or lying down. When it does show up, the lump feels hard. 🙏 Honestly, if anyone knows what might be going on, I’d really appreciate the help...

Look, a hernia doesn't necessarily show up on an ultrasound if the bowel slips back into place. That's exactly why they told you to come back when it's swollen. Next time it happens, don't wait—head straight to the ER and demand an ultrasound right then and there. If it were enlarged lymph nodes, the ultrasound would have picked that up; those things don't just swell up and vanish that quickly.
