Page not loading completely

Lately, I’ve been running into this glitch where the page doesn't load fully—it just "cuts off" halfway through the homepage, a subforum, or a thread. To get it to display properly, I have to hit refresh once or even several times 😠

It's getting pretty frustrating... 😳

Is anyone else dealing with this? And more importantly, is there actually a fix for it? 🤷

Aside from being a massive waste of time and incredibly frustrating, there isn't much else to say 😛

Plus, I can't even find the first new post using that orange icon—I have to manually dig through everything just to figure out which old post was actually the last one 😳

It’s always the same story at my job; the IT guys just flat-out told me there’s no way to fix it. 🙄
They also claimed the issue is likely just my browser, since I'm stuck using Internet Explorer at the office and don't have the permissions to install anything else...

I've tried to make things slightly less miserable by adjusting my settings to show 20 posts per page instead of the usual 40 default forum setting.

I'm using Mozilla—it doesn't happen all the time, but lately, it's becoming a regular occurrence 😠

I’ve been dealing with this exact same headache for about a year now. I’m a Mozilla user. Honestly, it drives me up the wall because sometimes even a quick refresh doesn't fix it. I end up having to hunt through all the old posts just to find the recent ones, so I have to hit reply and then manually scroll all the way down to the bottom to actually see what’s happening.

So, I told them all along—it wasn't some weird browser glitch... 😁

But whatever. If you really want to fix this mess, just set the view to 20 posts per page. Honestly, that’s the only bit of advice I can offer at this point... 😢

But there's this other thing driving me crazy—whenever I load a page, it says "done" at the bottom, the site logo and some banner ad pop up at the top, but the rest of the screen stays completely blank... just a void of white space. I end up having to hit refresh a few times before it actually decides to work properly. Is anyone else getting this, or is it just my setup acting up? 🤔

Ugh, tell me about it, I deal with the exact same headache constantly... sometimes a page just refuses to load all the way, leaving me staring at half-finished junk, and I end up having to force it open over and over again. Even hitting refresh doesn't do squat. I’ve noticed it happens way more often when my connection is acting up—you know, when I'm stuck on those crappy EDGE or low-speed mobile data signals—and it seems to happen specifically when I'm using my Verizon hotspot, because whenever I'm on my AT&T broadband, everything runs perfectly smooth... but hey, who knows why technology decides to be such a pain in the neck one day and not the next...🤷

Well, I feel a lot better now. I was actually starting to think about bringing up my relatives to those people over at T-Mobile US again. 😬

Look, can we actually get these issues sorted? Because this is seriously starting to grate on my nerves. 😠

Dammit, if I spent half the time I waste logging in and out of this forum actually trying to get the site to just work, maybe I'd actually get something done. 😵

Since it’s pretty clear nobody in management actually gives a damn about this, I figured I'd just handle it myself. Turns out, the trick to stopping it is simple: just don't try to open multiple tabs at once. ☕

It's slow going, but hey, it works.

Give me a break... 😁 you've got to be kidding me. I literally bought a brand new computer just the other day—yeah, a BRAND NEW one 🙏 and since then, at least ten times a day, pages just refuse to load completely 😕

And I’m strictly using Firefox, still have my settings set to 20 posts per page, and no, I am NOT seeing them... 🙂

Yeah, I run into that occasionally in Opera too, though it’s pretty rare and usually clears up with a quick refresh.
Unless, of course, you hit that specific wall where a refresh just hands you those lovely little error codes—503, 504, 505, or a polite "Sorry, we're doing some quick maintenance on the server."😳
