PC build for 2K gaming

I need some suggestions for a rig under $300. Mainly just for surfing the web and maybe some light gaming here and there.
So just the tower, really. I'll probably need a DVD drive too—anywhere from Best Buy to a local shop should work, preferably somewhere I can actually walk in and buy it.

Nice setup. That quad-core processor and GPU combo is solid, and the power draw is low... My advice? Throw in another 4GB of RAM to get it running in dual channel. It’ll really let the whole system breathe... that would be an extra $58... if you don't mind installing it right away...
