http://pastebin.com/8v7AgHhb so, here's the deal—if anyone can help me out before I just give up and take this thing to a repair shop, I'd really appreciate it. I tried posting this on another forum earlier and just got totally roasted, so... yeah. About a year ago, I installed Windows 7 on my old PC and everything was smooth sailing. Well, about a month ago I picked up a new machine—nothing crazy, just a decent budget build—and I set it up with Windows, updated all the drivers, threw an antivirus on there... but even after reinstalling ten different times, I keep hitting the same wall. I honestly thought I was just doing something wrong. Some guy actually hopped on TeamViewer to try and help me out, but he ended up giving up too. Basically, when Windows boots up, I hear this constant "beep beep beep" sound until it finally loads. Once it's up, if I try to open Firefox or even just a folder, like ten identical windows pop up at once. Or if I try to run a program installer, the window just flickers and disappears instantly. Weirdly enough, if I open a folder or Firefox and just search for something random on Google, then switch away from the browser without restarting, the computer seems to act normally for a bit. I've tried pretty much every antivirus out there and nothing finds a single thing. I even swapped out the mouse and keyboard, but no luck. Maybe I messed something up in the BIOS? Does anyone know how to update a BIOS, or maybe what kind of tool I should use to check if all my components are actually running okay? Please, don't be mean about it—I’m definitely not a pro, though I think I know my way around a computer well enough. This has never happened to me before. Also, the motherboard temp is hitting 123 degrees, which sounds sketchy, and my keyboard is typing letters wrong. If anyone has any ideas, thanks so much. Here is the log:😵🙂👎

Maybe you're just dealing with some buggy Windows versions that you keep installing... Why not grab the ORIGINAL SETUP HERE, burn it onto a blank DVD, and try a fresh install? It'll be interesting to see if that actually fixes things.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot—just let me know if this one is 32-bit http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24394.iso 2147483647 X17-24394.iso Windows 7 Ultimate x86 or if it's this one instead

Well, it actually says right next to every link which version of Windows you're looking at—and whether it’s the x86 32-bit version or the x64 64-bit one. Since you've got 4 GB of RAM installed in your machine, you should definitely grab the 64-bit Windows...

I'm grabbing all those 32-bit and 64-bit versions right now—I'll hit you guys up later tonight. Quick question though, how do I fix my keyboard? It’s typing the wrong letters for some reason...

You should probably install the 64-bit version of Windows since you have 4GB of RAM; that way you can actually use all of it. Honestly though, I doubt a reinstall will fix this. It sounds like a motherboard issue to me. 123 degrees is definitely not a normal temperature!
Is something wrong with your keyboard?

Yeah, I see what happened—it looks like your Z equals Y and your Y equals Z. You really should have toggled that during the Windows installation, but no biggie—you can just head over to the Control Panel, go under Clock, Language and Region, then hit Region and Language, and switch the settings to American.

Nicholas Miller6 It’s not the software, though—that sensor is just giving you a faulty reading. I mean, seriously? If your PC were actually hitting 123°C, it would be a puddle of melted plastic by now, let alone still running...

If you’re actually hearing those three beeps, you might want to take a look at your RAM settings

When Windows starts up, you hear a bip bip bip until it finally boots

Just select USA right at the start of the installation and you should be good to go...

Oh, please. Just let him be. 🤣
On the Bug forum, after we all tried our best to lend a hand, he just started spamming endless walls of text—basically just logs—over and over again. He refuses to listen to anyone, insists on doing things his own way, and just keeps repeating the same tired points. It’s exhausting, really.

After five days of pure, unadulterated frustration, the decision was finally made to delete his thread entirely. Not just lock it, mind you—actually delete it. That is an incredibly rare occurrence on a forum like this. 🥱

I don't even need help from people like you. None of you guys have even had the guts to hop on TeamViewer to see that I'm telling the truth👎

I saw the thread... people were genuinely trying to help him, but he just won't 🙂
