After I called out this generalization, the insults toward clergy, and the trolling, the mods wiped my post and left the one above.

Enough is enough. For years, plenty of conservative users have endured harassment on this subforum while just trying to bring some actual debate to the table. No matter how much I try to stay polite and stick to the facts, it doesn't matter. This current lineup of moderators has driven away almost every conservative user, and honestly, the owner should be ashamed of all of you.

I've finally hit my limit. I'm done with the bullying and the lowlifes who substitute moderation violence and vulgarity for actual arguments.

Please just give me a partial ban from the political discussion section so I don't have to deal with being targeted there anymore. I understand a requested partial ban carries the same weight and consequences as one issued for activity.

Generalizing?

Where am I generalizing? I didn't say EVERY priest does this; I said there are people like that within the Catholic Church, yet nobody talks about it, organizes marches, or even addresses the issue. Does bringing up homosexuality or pedophilia within the Church count as insulting priests? It’s just a fact that these things happen, it's a fact the Church knows about it, and it's a fact they aren't transparent about how many cases exist or how they actually handle discipline—it often feels like nothing ever happens. How is that generalizing?

Seriously, tell me where I'm being general or where I'm attacking priests. And if you think I'm making this up, do yourself a favor, set aside an afternoon, and watch Spotlight and look at the timeline of events there.

I’ve spent years going toe-to-toe with the mod clique, and it hasn't just been complaints—I've actually offered constructive feedback. All I've seen is top-tier users walk away. Now, all that's left is a handful of conservatives and maybe a few others from the right.

Enough is enough. I put too much effort into my posts to waste them arguing with people like you.
There are actually interesting people here with different viewpoints, but I can't even reach them through the wall of trolls, idiots, and trigger-happy moderators. I actually quit two years ago because of the censorship, then I crawled back after getting sucked into certain topics again. A partial ban will make sure I don't make that mistake twice.

Anyone can control a debate by banning posts and stifling free speech whenever they feel threatened. Meanwhile, there's always someone available to bully.

I'm debating because you're lying. Where did you see me generalizing? I said there's a problem, not that everyone is doing it. Especially regarding how common homosexuality is within the Church, yet all I read here are these insults and claims that gay and lesbian people are "threatening" American society. Well, if you ask me, it seems like those groups are threatening us from more than one direction, so maybe we should talk about that too.

Second, what "ideological war"? You think church membership numbers are too low to worry about? You're the one accusing me of having an agenda; I've never claimed to be on the far right or the far left.

I'm not a moderator over in the Politics section, so whatever happens there isn't my business, but once people start talking nonsense about how the LGBTQ+ community is a threat to American society, I might just start pointing out where all that influence actually stems from. Just thought you should know.
