Every single month, I deal with pain that is just unbearable... there are two days where I can't do anything at all. I’m just lying there, cramping up, clutching a hot water bottle against my stomach... I've started relying on Advil, but honestly, nothing seems to be helping much.
I was wondering how you all manage these pains... does anyone have any natural remedies or home hacks that actually work?
I've also heard that birth control pills can help reduce the cramping... since I'm currently putting together a pros and cons list for different brands, I wanted to know if that's actually true.

Honestly, birth control pills are absolute lifesavers when it comes to pain relief—you wouldn't even believe how much they actually help!
Plus, your cycle stays totally predictable.

And trust me, I’ve done my fair share of deep dives and research on this, and there really isn't anything bad about them; they just give your hormones a little nudge, and that's pretty much it.
There is absolutely no reason to be scared, because I know plenty of women who stayed on them for twenty or thirty years and went on to have perfectly healthy babies, and they're all doing great today.

If I were in your shoes, I would definitely head straight to the gynecologist for a checkup and talk about starting the pill.

I take them myself, and honestly, I haven't run into a single issue with them.

I’m still on the fence about whether I should start drinking them... since I have this painful lump in my right breast. The FBI told me it’s just glandular tissue and nothing to worry about, but I still feel uneasy. What if those glands eventually turn into something serious because of the hormones?

I just realized there’s already a similar thread here, so if possible, could a moderator please move this or just delete it?

Well, if you're feeling uneasy, the absolute best thing to do is go talk to your gynecologist! A professional medical opinion and what people say on a forum are two very different things, so definitely get a solid check-up first.

I was really just trying to let you know that the pills themselves are fine, so please don't let yourself worry too much!
