To be perfectly honest, I have never once come here to complain about being banned. In the past, I’ve picked up my fair share of warnings; there were certain excesses on various US forums years ago where I was "punished," though the reasoning was utterly absurd. I accepted it regardless, simply because that specific sub-forum wasn't important to me. The reason was ridiculous because there was no actual justification other than a mere difference of opinion, which was then arbitrarily labeled as something serious—but that isn't the point of this post. So, right in the middle of those brief warnings and minor infractions (and I don't even recall ever being banned for more than a few days, if that), I suddenly receive a six-month ban... completely out of the blue. Granted, I had used some strong language, and quite rightly at times, since it had nothing to do with common sense

But wait... six months? As I mentioned, I had never received anything remotely close to a ban of that length before, and I accepted the decision without making a fuss

And now, those six months have passed (everything has expired), yet my status still says "banned" and the "date lifted" field remains empty

Well, that is truly unacceptable. I fail to understand how someone can be punished in such a draconian fashion. If I had been banned for a couple of weeks on a few occasions, I might have understood, but not like this

It is my firm belief that this was an impulsive decision made by a moderator with whom I had previously dealt with or clashed over minor warnings (Gerald Chavez7), and I was essentially penalized for it

Furthermore, I remember one specific instance where he told me via PM that he actually agreed with me that a certain individual was being quite foolish, but noted that it didn't give me the right to insult him. Fine, I agree with that principle, but I am telling you now that there are just as many disgusting and degrading posts in the Salary threads where participants who disagree with the majority are insulted repeatedly without any consequence

I can't even recall which specific comment triggered my ban... perhaps it wasn't even in the Salary threads in America... which speaks volumes about how disproportionate this ban is. If nothing else, I consider this a blatant injustice—a permanent ban dropped out of nowhere. Please lift the ban. Thank you

So, three whole days have passed without a single response. What exactly is the purpose of this subforum if appeal requests are simply ignored without even a comment?

Honestly, three days isn't exactly a lifetime when you're dealing with a permanent ban. Plus, it’s the weekend, so everyone's just chilling—might as well hang tight for a bit.

rustydrifter10 said:Three days is hardly a sentence for someone facing a permanent ban. Besides, it's the weekend—just exercise some patience.

Well, eleven days have passed now.

Frankly, this is an absolute embarrassment. You have entire forums dedicated to appeals, yet nobody is bothering to look into this case—where we are clearly seeing a draconian punishment for something so utterly trivial I can barely even recall it.

Reason: constant harassment?

Oh, wow, how profound. Truly, a permanent ban is perfectly justified, as is a 6,000-point penalty that becomes completely irrelevant once you're banned anyway. That number alone serves as a glaring indicator of the mods' unchecked tyranny.

You earned this permanent ban—it was a direct consequence of your constant, heavy-handed insults. This wasn't some isolated incident either; you’ve brought this exact same attitude to several other subforums before (and you’ve already picked up partial sanctions for it elsewhere).

That said, after touching base with rustydrifter10, we’ve decided to give you one final shot—but let’s be clear, this is absolutely the last one. We aren't bothering with warning cards for verbal abuse anymore; the next time a moderator decides to flag your behavior, it's an immediate perm.

Just hang tight for a few days until a supermod or admin lifts the ban.
