Prolotherapy: Has anyone tried it?

Couldn't find a single thread on prolotherapy around here, so I guess I'm starting one.

Does anyone actually know the deal with prolotherapy in the States? I mean, I get the concept—I know what the treatments involve and all that—but I’m looking for specifics. Where can you actually go to get this done, and what kind of damage are we talking about regarding the cost?

I'm curious about this too, but I can't seem to find much info out there.

So, I’ve been looking into prolotherapy lately. I’m dealing with some patellar chondromalacia, and honestly, after trying every single thing under the sun with zero luck, prolotherapy feels like the only move left on the board that actually makes sense. Does anyone here have the inside scoop or more info on how it actually works?
