Proving Paternity

I'm looking for some insight on this scenario: A woman gets pregnant unexpectedly after a casual fling. Neither she nor the guy actually wanted this child to happen. Now that the pregnancy is confirmed, she’s identifying him as the father, but he’s flat-out denying any involvement and refusing to acknowledge the baby. Is there a legal way for her to prove paternity?

Maybe one day—way down the road, once scientists finally figure out how to prove paternity through DNA testing...

Look, since DNA testing isn't exactly cheap, you could always start with basic blood typing. It’s obviously not as definitive as a DNA profile, but I guess in certain scenarios, it might be enough to rule out paternity immediately.
