It serves as an interesting watch, even if the conclusion feels somewhat disorganized—though you might certainly pick up a few lessons on how easily people can be deceived. It makes me wonder, why aren't these kinds of artifacts studied in psychology departments across the country?😁

It’s all because our education system is fundamentally broken. From what I hear, aspiring psychologists here are being force-fed nothing but absolute garbage.

The film itself is solid, and I honestly don't see what the fuss is about. It featured a perfectly executed twist that caught me completely off guard.

And Robert de Niro is simply the king.

I'm totally with you on that!

The way they handled Sigourney's death felt a little rushed and superficial for my taste, but hey, since I've always had a huge soft spot for Robert De Niro, I still walked away feeling pretty good about the whole thing.

Really enjoyed this one... kept me hooked from start to finish... and even though I kind of saw the ending coming, it still hit home... solid cast, too

What a mess. It starts out promising enough, but then it just spirals completely out of control!

A film that sets up such a potentially rich premise, only to end up being a complete non-event.
By the time the credits rolled, I honestly couldn't tell what had actually happened—not that I particularly cared to figure it out... it just left that kind of lingering, heavy impression on me... 😁

Cillian Murphy was excellent, Sigourney was alright, but Robert De Niro was just... meh.

Just caught this movie on TV.

Solid concept, but yeah, it drags. It starts getting tedious right after Margaret dies.
The character played by Elizabeth Olsen felt totally unnecessary—even if she did eventually figure out the trick Robert De Niro’s character was using at the end.
That ending twist, "You can't deny yourself forever," was actually pretty sharp.
But honestly, they glossed over Margaret's death way too much. They mention she succumbed to an illness—showing some shots of her taking meds—but before that, Ty had this massive blowout fight with her and said some real nasty stuff. The actual death scene itself felt unfinished.

Overall though, it's a decent watch. 🙂

Decent enough movie. A solid 6.8/10. Worth a watch if you have the time.

BUT, the writing really let the plot slide. It starts off strong, but then it just loses its way as it goes on.
It’s honestly such a waste of talent. Having Murphy, Weaver, and De Niro all in one cast? That should have been the definitive masterpiece of the 2010s.

That scene where they beat up Murphy was 🙏🙏. Just brutal, raw realism.
