Reddit plugin

So, I just finished installing the latest version of the Reddit app on my iOS device, and now every single time I try to open this forum, I get hit with this annoying pop-up warning saying the plugin is outdated:

Just write to support, man. I can't deal with these Trojans here, and I definitely don't have the patience for them messing around with Reddit 😬

I actually had to roll back to the previous version because, honestly, the latest update was just a total mess and wouldn't work right for me at all.

Everything’s running fine on my end, except for that one annoying window that pops up right when I'm booting things up.

Maybe you could dig through the Reddit settings somewhere and see if there's an option to toggle those version update notifications on? I mean, I think I actually unchecked that box ages ago just so it wouldn't bug me with pop-ups, you know, so I could just manually grab the update whenever I felt like it.

The API for the forum is an older version, not the mobile client itself.

I mean, I get that, but I was thinking maybe there’s some setting buried somewhere in his Reddit app that would let him opt out of getting notifications whenever he connects to a forum running an outdated version of this plugin.

I could really use some assistance here.
Every time I attempt to log in to the forum via my phone, the system rejects both my username and my password. It’s as if they don't exist. Does anyone have any insight into why this might be happening?

Just hit search, type in Reddit, run it, and then just plug in your login and password.

I’m running into a real headache with Reddit and my mobile data—specifically when I'm on Verizon. For some reason, whenever I try to log in while on cellular, it keeps telling me my password is wrong. Then, before I know it, Reddit just disappears from my list of subscribed forums entirely. The weirdest part? Everything works perfectly fine once I switch over to Wi-Fi.



Does anyone have a fix for this? Also, on a side note, instead of seeing direct links to images, I'm just getting emoticons popping up!

Update the plugin version. Every single time I try, the Reddit app throws an error at me on this WordPress platform.

It looks like Reddit 2 (for iOS) has completely stopped working on the site.

Is it really that hard to just refresh the API for this app? 🤷

Works fine on my end, I guess.

Honestly, I don't think it's an API issue. I just reinstalled the app and everything's back to normal.

Same here—honestly had to log in a bunch of times because it just wouldn't accept my username or password...

It finally started working for me just today, but I'm still getting hit with this same error message.

Why does it keep logging me out of the forum?
Every single time I try to access the site through Reddit, I have to re-enter my password.
