Report a post

Why on earth is there a mandatory one-minute cooldown between reports? I was trying to flag all his spam posts so they wouldn't slip through the cracks once he's finally banned, but apparently, doing that is going to cost me ten minutes of my precious life. 😁

I’m not entirely sure why we need to wait a full minute—it seems a bit excessive—but there’s really no need to report every single individual post, especially when dealing with a brand-new user. It should be more than enough to just note during the initial report that most, if not all, of their posts are blatant spam, perhaps even pointing out the specific threads they’ve been cluttering up. After that, I suppose it's left to the moderators or the site admins to go in and handle the actual cleanup. 😁

But if I do that, the notification only hits the moderators of that specific subforum, and since he’s been spamming multiple different sections, I figured I’d actually try to be helpful for once in my life. 😳

I think you just use the little Trotkutić icon with the exclamation point—that’s how you report it.

Just look for the little triangle on the left side, though you could always just shoot a DM to the moderator—it’ll end up in the same place anyway.👍

It doesn't matter. If you file a report and clearly state that he's trolling from bad faith to total chaos, the mods will clean up their own section, check his posting history, and then pass the word along to the other relevant mods—or take it straight to the admin board to demand a real response. 🙂
