Hey Reddit,

I already tried reporting this through the flag icon, but nothing seems to have happened:

Can someone explain why it’s okay for someone to call me stupid and a blatant liar?

Standard procedure is to give the moderators at least 24 hours to respond after you hit that report button before bringing it up here on the main board.

Also, just a heads-up—we’re dealing with some technical glitches with the reporting system right now, so notifications are hitting us a bit late. I really appreciate your patience and understanding while we get this sorted out. Go ahead and keep reporting things—it doesn't hurt anything—but feel free to just shoot a PM to the mods with a link to the problematic post if you need something handled faster.

Hi there.

The influx of reports over the last few days has caused some minor disruptions, though we haven't let things slip. Personally, I have refrained from issuing bans on matters where I don't yet have the full context, mainly because I haven't had sufficient time to thoroughly review the thread, and I have no desire to take action without being fully informed.
I have requested that one of my colleagues look into this specific topic whenever they find a moment.

That kind of rhetoric is certainly unwelcome, and you can rest assured that your report has not been ignored.

Fair enough. I'm hoping we see some kind of reaction.
