Resolution is off

Just got back from a run, fired up my PC—standard setup, monitor, Windows 7 Ultimate—and the resolution is completely trashed. I thought I’d accidentally booted into Safe Mode, but nope... I know where to adjust the settings, but no matter what I do, nothing looks right. YouTube, movies, everything is distorted. Anything that should be round looks like an oval, icons are wonky, fonts are all messed up... I’ve already scanned for viruses, scoured Google, and dug through various tutorials, but I haven't found anything useful. Does anyone have an idea or a tool that can fix this, or am I really looking at a full reinstall of win

...maybe try doing a clean reinstall of your graphics drivers..

Thanks—it worked, though it wasn't exactly a walk in the park. Took me two full days to figure out. Turns out you have to use the specific utility and the driver straight from the official site; for some reason, everything else just failed

I ran into this same headache when I first installed Windows 10, which is why I rolled back to Windows 7 in the first place—thought I had a compatibility issue
