Can someone walk me through this? What’s the deal with search engines constantly serving up everything except what I actually typed in?

So, what exactly were you looking for that didn't turn up?
Maybe try playing around with some different keyword combinations?
Personally, I think this search tool is great and I use it all the time. Honestly, it felt pretty useless for a bit when they briefly pulled it offline.😢

I feel like I’m losing my edge somehow 🤷
It used to be instant—I’d spot what I needed right away. Now? It takes me like half an hour just to find anything 😠

The search engine is an absolute joke—and honestly, it hasn't been any better than this for quite some time now.

Honestly, whenever I need to find something, I just head straight to Google. I type in Reddit plus my keywords. Trying to use this forum's internal search? Forget about it. Never worked for me. 🤷

I don't get it.

Christian Taylor3 is basically trying to say that the forum's search function is absolute garbage...

....and that it’s actually way easier and more helpful to just hunt for stuff on the forum using Google via the specific method they suggested.
