Hey,
I could really use some help here... my search tool isn't working at all, and honestly, even my regular threads aren't refreshing properly...
Thanks!

To clear those notifications, you'll need to hit "mark forums read" once you've caught up on everything
The search function seems to be broken for everyone right now

What do you mean by "they don't refresh"? I never bother clicking "mark all as read," yet it works perfectly fine for me.

Same here. It’s not an issue with the forum itself; it’s clearly on their end. 😁

It’s honestly getting on my nerves that I either have to manually open every single thread or just hit "mark as read" to clear them. It used to be easier—I’d just browse through what caught my eye, reading some and skipping others. But now, once I leave, the forum assumes I’ve seen everything, so nothing shows up as new anymore. 🙏 🙏 🙏

It’s just a way to raise the collective IQ of this place. Since you actually have to remember what interests you, it exercises the brain—maybe then we’ll finally become the smartest forum on the planet. 😁

Besides, why does it matter if it shows new posts in threads you don't even care about?

I have them in my Control Panel 😁 and it’s getting pretty cluttered. Honestly, who am I to blame for ever having written them in the first place? 😁

The Control Panel? What are you even talking about? 😁

A bit too 😁 Yeah, I saw that, but I'm rarely around there so it didn't really occur to me (for example) 😁

Looks like we’ll be seeing less actual photography and more just people waving cameras around at Pikes Peak this summer.😁

The forum administration is working on a fix. Expect results in about two years. Thanks!

Is it just me, or is the search function totally broken?
It actually works if you're hunting down a specific author, but try searching for any actual keywords or topics and... nothing. Just dead air.

It’s officially over for the old system; the server just isn't responding. There's zero chance of it ever getting back online, and honestly, we've wasted enough time waiting for it. Just accept it and move on. 😬

That’s why I always suggest using Google with the "site:reddit.com" operator.
