Signature

If I include someone else's quote in my signature, and that original post is later deleted (and quite some time after the fact, at that), why on earth does my signature get wiped out too? Look, what's written is what's written; I wasn't attempting any kind of forgery, I was simply being consistent with the citation. I don't believe I’ve violated any community guidelines since I haven't received a strike or anything, so why go through the trouble of scrubbing my signature?🤔

We actually already hashed this out over direct messages, so there really isn't any need to start a whole new thread about it.
