Specs for this laptop?

A buddy of mine is trying to hook me up with a laptop for about a third of what it’d cost retail, which sounds tempting, I guess. But I’m a bit of a stickler for the fine print, and I really want to dig into the specs before I even consider it. Here’s the catch: I can’t find a single scrap of info about this thing online. He sent over a photo of the sticker on the bottom, and now I’m staring at it wondering why it says something along the lines of this model isn't actually for sale, but was strictly for testing purposes.
The laptop is an "Acer ZRZL- test"
Anyone here have any clue what I'm looking at?

It’s clearly just some test unit not meant for retail, which is what the label says.

What kind of specs are you actually looking for, and what would you even pay for this? It's been sitting around for years and isn't exactly cutting edge anymore...

This Acer Aspire e might be close to certain specs on the sticker,
(trying to find a price comparison... though at this point, it's probably long gone)...

Something feels off here:
Between @Morgan Ortiz6 and his friend, there is technically quite a 'high-quality' (e.g., being able to send photos) line of communication.

A few direct questions should clear up everything our colleague is worried about. For instance, ask for a screenshot of 'This PC/Properties'... and things like that.

A buddy of mine just picked up this laptop, and honestly, the guy couldn't find his way out of a paper bag if it were open. He’s never owned a computer or even a laptop in his life—doesn't even know how to turn one on. We don't live in the same city, so I can't exactly go over and take a look myself. All he could manage was sending me this photo he snapped with his phone from the back of the machine.
What on earth is he looking at here: "this device has not met all regulatory approvals therefore be offered for sale or lease"
"sample only, not for sale"

Essentially, this means the laptop hasn't cleared all the necessary regulatory certifications—the kind that are standard for any electronic hardware. For instance, it lacks the US FCC certification for electromagnetic compatibility. Every electronic device—especially those things that generate an electromagnetic field, which includes your laptop—is supposed to have that...

So, as I was saying before, it’s clearly just a testing unit.

I suppose you could still use it normally, provided it actually works, of course; it’s just that, since it hasn't gone through those specific tests, there's no guarantee it won't cause interference with other devices nearby, and so on... because it lacks those required certifications.

Those are basically torture-test units. They get tossed, smashed, shaken, pounded on the keys, left in humidity, frozen at -50, baked at +70—you name it.
