So I was climbing over this low wall and totally scraped myself—or at least that’s what I thought at first. When I looked down at my leg (right in the middle of my shin), I just saw this tiny little scratch, nothing bleeding, just red... but then there was this massive bump, bigger than a walnut, just sitting there. Man, I freaking panicked... anyway, within ten minutes it flattened out a bit, though it kind of spread around, you know? Once I got home, iced it, and slathered some cream on there, the pain died down. Over the next few days, the swelling went way down too—now it’s only about an inch wide and barely noticeable... which is fine because I didn't feel much pain initially, except for this weird stinging sensation I had a couple of days ago. It wasn't intense or anything, just happened maybe 4 or 5 times a day for a few seconds and then it was gone... but now, when I press on the spot and move my finger around, it feels like this weird scraping sensation... almost like rubbing against something smooth, like rubber or something. It doesn't actually hurt, just a strange little popping feeling... hope that makes sense, but what the hell is actually going on here??? Like, do I seriously need to go see a doctor or what?
