Superfast! [2015]

It was honestly just a matter of when the writing and directing duo Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer would finally turn their sights toward the massive Fast & Furious franchise. They’ve basically built their entire careers on parodying everything in sight, starting with their take on spy movies featuring Leslie Nielsen, moving through their whole run of dark film spoofs like Epic Movie and Disaster Movie. Given that the Fast & Furious series is already pretty much a parody itself—especially lately—it felt inevitable.



The end result is Superfast! 😁 I don't even need to get into the plot because it's really just a giant mashup of previous Fast & Furious installments, but you definitely have to check out the character spoofing Dom 😁 . Specifically, the way they nail the parody of Hobbs' character is hilarious (that baby milk bit 😬 😬 )

You have to give that duo credit for one thing: sheer, unadulterated consistency. I mean, every single movie they put out is absolute garbage, but hey, at least they stick to their guns and keep churning out the same brand of nonsense. I’m practically counting down the days until their next "masterpiece," *Who The Fuck Took my Daughter*, which is supposedly their take on *Taken*. Not.

I was actually posting over on the Fast & Furious / Furious 7 thread about this parody, but man, it is seriously hilarious! It’s absolute gold! 🙏😂👍

Honestly, I’d recommend this to anyone, whether you’re a huge fan of the F7F series or just someone who loves a good laugh—if you dig comedies and parodies, you’ve gotta watch this... probably more than once too.

Watched the first 20 minutes. Didn't laugh once. Turn it off, hit shift+delete—that’s my take on this movie. 🙂

Man, I watched the first 2 minutes and cracked up at least 20 times! I actually turned it off just to keep laughing, then hit play again because I couldn't get enough. That's how I feel about this flick. 🤣

Pretty weak. Honestly, the only part that actually had me laughing was when that guy was trying to take Rock's role by tossing around reports, paperwork, and coffee 🙂
