Has anyone ever heard of that old superstition? You know, the one where if you lose two family members in a single year, a third one is somehow "guaranteed" to follow? It sounds crazy, I know. But a few years back, I went through this—three deaths in my immediate circle, all within just a few months of each other. And now, here I am again, dealing with two losses already this year, and honestly, that old superstition is starting to weigh on me. I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find any mention of it, but I can't find a single thing...

Even though I have my moments where I let myself believe in things that aren't exactly grounded in reality, this just sounds like total nonsense to me...

Don't beat yourself up or let this weigh you down. People have always tried to explain various natural occurrences with ghost stories and superstitions, searching for patterns where none exist. The reality is simple: death is out of our control, unless we're focusing on our own health and wellness.

I haven't the slightest clue about that... honestly, never even heard of it before...🤷

I haven't heard much about deaths within a family, but I have always been told that misfortune tends to travel in threes... whether it’s three separate tragedies hitting at once or three years of pure chaos, it always seems to revolve around that number.

OT: People just talking nonsense

Back in my hometown, there’s this eerie pattern where if two people pass away within a day or two of each other, a third person inevitably dies within the next 48 hours.

Usually, it's considered "normal" for someone in town to pass away every ten to fifteen days or so.
