I didn't find myself even remotely interested in the film until those Chatroulette ads started popping up everywhere; if that isn't a stroke of marketing genius, I truly have no idea what is 😁.
That being said, judging by the trailer, the whole thing looks rather tedious. A little farm girl possessed by demons... honestly, if she doesn't step up, who will? Poor thing. 🙄

Following more solid reviews, the movie led the box office this week with about twenty million.

Just finished watching... nothing special. Maybe two scenes gave me a slight jump, but overall it was just an okay movie. Nothing spectacular, though—definitely not as good as The Exorcist.

Just stepped out of the theater. A truly excellent horror film, perhaps one of the better ones we've seen lately.👍

They’re getting pretty tedious with all these sequels... they should just make a trashy version instead! It wouldn't even count as horror. I probably won't bother watching it.

It seems like people just assume everything out there is some kind of direct sequel to The Exorcist from back in '73... I honestly don't know why they think that, maybe it's just how it works now...

What a total waste of time! I just burned ninety minutes of my life, plus $5.25 I spent on it! 🙄 Jesus Christ, what was I thinking?! 🙄

Just another one with a disastrous ending.
Yeah, the finale is honestly as bad as people say, maybe even worse.
The movie does a decent job building up the dread and tension, though.
But that ending... 👎
