The gods have truly descended upon us

Saw Bio on NBC again yesterday—honestly, who knows how many times now? It’s one of those movies I could probably watch for the hundredth time and still love.👍

Maybe it would’ve held up for some ten-year-old during wartime—whatever that’s worth now—but airing this stuff for the thousandth time? 👎

Given the sheer absurdity currently masquerading as comedy on our streaming services, I find myself wondering if perhaps it’s time for me to revisit his work once more.

Man, I remember loving this when I was a kid—it was absolutely hilarious back then! It doesn't quite hit that same funny bone for me now, but honestly, the message behind it is solid. Plus, it’s not overly violent, so if you've got kids under 15, it’s a total cinematic treat for them.

Man, what a ridiculous movie. I was basically cackling the whole time I was watching it. If I’d known it was going to be this much of a blast, I probably would've sat through it for the 20th time already. 😁

It’s not even that hilarious anymore, but there's just something about it... you can't help yourself, you just have to hit play again. Every time I think about that bottle of Coca-Cola 😂

...man, that movie was everything to me when I was a kid...I can still see myself wandering around those old theaters with my mom, from the local AMC over by our place all the way to the big multiplex downtown...just pure bliss...I even caught the third installment while it was still playing in theaters, though honestly, it didn't hit quite like the first two did...I also remember this one flick that came out around the same time as "Gods"...those incredible creatures (seriously, animals are just beautiful souls)...that movie was awesome too...plus, it wasn't nearly as violent as "Gods" was...👍

Honestly, I feel like even if every major network in the country aired this movie 10,000 times, I’d still somehow miss it. It’s like the film is cursed; I haven't been able to sit down and watch it for nearly 30 years. 😍

It feels like every single year during the holidays, things just seem to go quiet and empty.
The movie was absolutely phenomenal.

I used to watch it religiously when I was a kid, but honestly? Now it just bores me to tears.

I actually have both of them downloaded on my computer—Part I and Part II—but I haven't sat down to watch them yet. 😬
