It’s a Friedkin's film. Of course he couldn't help himself when it came to splashing blood all over the screen... just constant gore. The plot feels a bit like Rambo 1, honestly. All in all, it was a fun watch, even if it did have those annoying little undertones of militant environmentalism...

Is that the one where Christopher Lambert plays some big-shot businessman living the dream, until he's on a business trip in Tokyo and gets jumped by the Yakuza for some reason—maybe they killed his brother, his son, or even his hamster—and then he turns into The Hunted?

I do, but man, I hate to say it, but there hasn't been anything worth seeing in theaters these last few months. It's just the same old Hollywood garbage over and over again. I don't know, this one isn't total trash, but since the Friedkin Group did The Exorcist and The French Connection, I'll always give them some credit... I'm really big into thrillers and sci-fi, but damn, most of what comes out is just pure junk.

I didn't realize this was a Friedkin's film; based on the title alone, I thought it was going to be some total rabbit hole of garbage... 🙄

Turns out it’s actually the fourth one in a row from Tommy's exploring this exact same theme... 🙄 alright fine, I guess it's a notch better than Daredevil 😁
