The Mueller Report on Russia Today

Anyone watching?

It’s one of my favorite shows.

👍

I’ve been bingeing some videos on Russia Today lately, and I might actually try to sit through all the recent stuff from the last six months or so if I can stay awake.
Man, we could just talk about this nonsense forever, I guess.

China is sitting on something like 2 trillion in US bonds...😲

I follow every Fox News report. I’d actually recommend subscribing to these channels because they’re incredibly informative: SGTbull07, Rawdoglet, visionvictory, geraldcelente, Schiff report, stellaconcepts.
😁
Max Keiser is an interesting guy—a bit eccentric, sure, but he gets straight to the point. He talks about what actually matters. He has high-quality guests and knows how to deliver a punchline. All in all, it's worth a watch.

@Kevin Reyes...👍
Man, that was brutal, I haven't laughed at anything serious in forever...🙂

Kind of gives me those Red Carpet vibes, you know? Just like some older version of a host you'd see on a local cable network...

I found this 111 episode pretty interesting, where Stacy Herbert brings up an oil expert claiming that because of "Peak Oil," we won't have enough cheap oil left to help Western economies grow their way out of a crisis.

They aren't going to pull through this without oil—in fact, they won't survive without it. Americans have enjoyed cheap fuel for ages, and you can see the wreckage left behind. Once oil prices spike and those extra dollars start bleeding out of the country, things are going to get ugly fast. By the way, it’s strange they haven't mentioned the debt ceiling issue currently sitting in Congress that needs an increase.

Watched it hit 100 and it just keeps climbing...

My take on part 111:

While JPMorgan Chase and those other global financial terrorists (honestly, Al-Qaeda is just a byproduct compared to them) are out there lending money that doesn't even exist just to pay off their own debts, salaries, and commissions—all while reinvesting that 0% (literally zero percent) they grab from central banks and other big finance outfits; you've got regular folks, like the 2 million sheep in the United Kingdom, borrowing that same imaginary cash to cover their bills, mortgages, and loan payments at 18%+ interest through credit card companies.
Just because some sheep thinks they’re being smart by shuffling debt around with a few credit cards and moving money from one empty pocket to another while digging an even deeper hole, it doesn't exactly make them George Soros.
With little moves like these, everything gets a pass, even if the interest is sitting at 0%.

So yeah, that's the whole sheep vs. wolves thing for you.

It’s a bit tough to jump into what you wrote—at least for me—but okay, I assume you're trying to say Americans used consumption to build up these virtual financial structures just to squeeze out more profit?

I find the point mentioned in the Fox News report fascinating: the Chinese are furious about the US printing dollars because it makes their exports more expensive. To keep the yuan/dollar ratio steady, they have to print yuan themselves, which naturally drives up inflation at home. It raises a real question: once the US finishes with QE2, will there be a QE3, and how on earth will China react then? Apparently, they were behind that rocket launch off the coast of Los Angeles, and I heard something similar happened near Texas.

By the way, the Americans tried to act smart at the last Asia-Pacific summit, but they got shut down exactly as they deserved. Also, Iran recently struck a deal with India to sell oil outside of the US dollar to dodge American manipulation.

Really solid follow-up, especially that first part:
- it’s not even about inflation or deflation really, it’s more like the whole system just getting absolutely drowned by a flood of fiat cash and credit... kind of like "psychoflation," where everything feels like a Bermuda Triangle situation
- we’re basically just living on borrowed time here
- it’s like when a massive dam finally gives way; everything around you is totally underwater, yet you can't even get any water out of your own faucet, so you're just sitting there thirsty while the world floods.

Second part:
- that utopian version of Australia is just living in total denial—regardless of those catastrophic floods—and I guess it’s really just a matter of time before reality hits...

Steve Keen agrees with me.

Captain Nemo said:January 14, 2011 at 10:04 pm

Steve, I wonder if Minsky cycles are enough explanation. Debt and creation of fallacious values ok , but this is All happening inside a “ Globalization ( in ) Equation ” in which production was delocalized in say China, but consumption remained in The West/USA.
In that context there is no real economy basis for a growing number of consumers to repay their credited consumption. But crediting it is still necessary inside that equation, because someone has to buy the production in which it has been invested in say China.
Inside that disbalanced Global economic shape , The creation of fallacious values is therefore necessary to maintain that illogical equation, as these false values attempt compensate it.
However it cannot go forever because too many consumers without real economy backing, fail to repay these debts, and because investment Capital tries to Milk both The producing and The Consumer side of The Global ( in ) equation sol
So, Minsky cycles might be too general for our present problems, because they do not include the specific shape of the disbalanced and sick global economic frame all this is happening in – and that specific shape is essential.

Steve Keen says:

You’re right Captain Nemo,

The Minsky cycle is overlaid on a transfer of production from the West to The East that was initiated by western businesses Trying to exploit loopholes in US, and thus get not merely a low wage advantage but also a low tax advantage over domestic producers. this necessarily undermined The Mass market on which American capitalism Had been successfully built in The post civil War, but the effects of this were masked by the huge rise in debt and the spending power the increase in debt enabled.

this process was actually The First economic Dynamic that i wrote a technical paper on, some 33 years ago.

Now that the private debt bubble has come to an end (though governments around the world are trying to restart it), the devastation of the industrial capacity of the USA is becoming apparent–though it still is barely visible over the rancor caused by the financial crisis.

PS: I’d also add that those debts—specifically the credit used to fund consumption—are basically fake value. That borrowed money is largely just something banks and creditors dreamed up because they EXPECTED it would be paid back anyway.
But since the real economy is weakening, which is the only actual foundation for repaying those loans, those EXPECTATIONS just didn't pan out.

The trick is that the banking system is already trading based on what it expects will happen, rather than just dealing with what actually exists and reflects the real economy. And that trading on expectations has already reached a massive level of derivation and abstraction from reality.

Hey everyone...

By the way, Max actually produces and hosts his own show, On the edge with Max, over at presstv.ir. It airs on Saturdays, and honestly, I think it's a must-watch if you have the time...

ep. 113...watching Max slap those stamps on Obama dollars... absolute madness!!!

episode 114 ....pretty solid stuff.

Part one:
A bit populist for my taste, I guess... but seriously, you bankers... you're literally killing people.
Cheap electronic US money is basically strangling the EU and causing deflation, while at the exact same time it's crushing India and driving up inflation......

Part two:
The debt-ridden generation in the US.
I mean, come on guys... they bail out the banks, yet schools and hospitals are getting shuttered... WTF.

Nobody ever talks about Iceland and how they're grinding through all this grit... but things are actually looking up there.
And yeah... they didn't just bail out the banks, or rather, they actually let those crooks fail.

episode 115:
Part one:
-Max's take on how China is basically turning into a modern-day Wild West, which is just great...
-Max Jr. reminiscing about his days grinding away on Wall Street back in '87
-Stacy says if the global economy wants to actually "grow," we’re looking at pumping another $100 trillion into it by 2020... I mean, seriously, what does that do to gold and silver prices?
Part two:
A little deep dive into those Facebook and US housing scams.

episode 116 is coming up for all you precious metals junkies out there.

Best,🙂

I finally confirmed what I’ve been suspecting for a while now: Max is Jewish. Honestly, I don't know if I can trust him. He might still be reporting the facts based on genuine motives, but hmm... from here on out, I’m taking everything he says with a massive grain of salt.

Man, you can never take anything for granted in this life, I guess. It’s just how things go.
And honestly, his version of the "truth" is basically just straight-up propaganda, so what else were you expecting?
Take it or leave it.
What does it even matter if he's "allegedly" Jewish?🤷

Peace-🙂

P.S. That little propaganda stunt you pulled... it kind of poked the bear and made me feel like I had to say something.

It matters because about 90% of the guys he’s labeling as banksters and financial terrorists happen to be Jewish. 😁
Look at the roster of CEOs and owners: J.P. Morgan, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, the Fed, the Treasury, Deutsche Bank, the European Central Bank, BlackRock...
Maybe it's just a coincidence. 😕
But hey, not all of them are villains; you can still find an honest one in the bunch. Peter Schiff is a prime example.

Hands down the best episode yet... seriously, you guys just have to watch this one

Man, it’s got everything—China, Australia, environmental stuff, all that Wall Street madness... plus you might actually make some cash along the way, I guess.
Just trying to keep Max alive, maybe...

Part one: real farms and cities versus this whole artificial setup; it’s basically economic suicide; I guess the IMF is just trying to force their way to the top of the fiat pyramid with this new currency or whatever; we're looking at a 7:1 ratio in the USA—debt compared to GDP—while China is sitting at 4:1... Part two: checking out Greg Palast’s take on who the actual dictators are (it's the petrol dictatorships, obviously).

Part one: since global food prices shot up about 30% last year, there are maybe 44 million new on the brink of starvation among the poor worldwide; it’s basically "leave Ben Bernanke alone or die"; I mean, Barack Obama is like a reverse Robin Hood; the USA spends way too much on defense; all those "fake wars" and missing billions... it feels like war is always someone's best friend... Part two: US arms dealing fueling dictatorships instead of democracy and social prosperity; it's crazy that for every tax dollar collected, 50 cents just vanishes into the massive defense industry.

Part one: some kind of management reincarnation 🙂; the whole cult of the dollar; then you have that political demagoguery in Wisconsin claiming the unemployed, immigrants, and the poor are the ones killing the American Dream; just trading hot garbage for handouts; you see Ron Paul getting booed on Fox News while people cheer for him on YouTube; plus that bit about how the US Military makes fake personas and avatars... (like that "good Samaritan" ad for Radovan Karr)... Part two: WikiLeaks.

WikiLeaks: "I need ounces... ounces... whether it's gold or silver... I just need ounces, ounces!"😍.

Cheers to everyone on the forums, wherever you guys end up...🙂.
