I find it truly remarkable that a dedicated thread hasn't been started about them yet. 😲
They are easily one of the greatest punk bands to ever grace a stage. If you haven't given them a listen yet, I highly recommend checking them out—even if you just start with those absolute classics like "Kill it!", "Alcatraz," "Attitude," and "Where Eagles Dare."
What are everyone's thoughts on them?

Graves 🙂 is actually where I think it was more about the energy of
Jerry only and Marky Ramon rather than the Misfits vibe.

I’m not exactly a huge fan myself so I’m on the fence, but I’m wondering what the vibe is actually going to be like... Are they even going to play the old classics despite all that legal drama over the song rights or whatever happened back then...

I mean, Graves is kind of a joke, but maybe that’s what they were going for? Since you just can't replace Danzig—it's impossible, really—especially since he handled everything from the lyrics to the music. Jerry seems like a genuinely nice guy, though. He’s actually picked up some instruments lately, too. I think I might head out to Boogaloo for the show... I went to the last one and it wasn't bad at all, I guess. Plus, having the guitarist from Black Flag on stage can't be a terrible choice, right?

I think Graves pulls more weight on the vocals, but let's be real, Danzig was the one who actually wrote their legendary tracks, and once he left, everything just kind of fell apart...

Well, my friends, today is finally the day we catch the concert!😁

I caught them playing at an outdoor venue in Chicago a few years back. Mark was holding it down on drums, and Jerry was handling all the vocals. To be honest, the performance itself was just okay—nothing to write home about—but man, the vibe was incredible. It was such a great, high-energy atmosphere. You had everyone in the crowd, from the clean-cut types to the total punks, all mixing together perfectly without any trouble. There was even some chanting for Glen, which honestly isn't a show without that, but all in all, it was a killer night. 🙂

Well, there you have it, I went too. I finally made it back home 🙂

They were actually quite talented, though they played everything at such a blistering 200 bpm that I only managed to recognize a few tunes somewhere halfway through the set, lol (and mind you, I was behind the soundboard, so my perspective wasn't exactly ideal). But honestly, the one redeeming quality was that the frontman stayed on stage for an extra 45 minutes just to sign autographs. So, all things considered, I am satisfied, yet I found myself descending into a profound state of melancholy while walking home...
