The Rocky Horror Picture Show

So, I finally sat down and watched it yesterday

hmmm... I don't know, it just didn't feel quite weird or campy enough to justify its legendary reputation (you know, being the only movie ever to play continuously in theaters since its '75 premiere), though the songs are pretty decent, and the acting is actually better than I expected (especially Tim Curry 😁), but the plot? It was kind of a blur, honestly (I guess I'll probably have to watch it again to really get it),

Anyway, it's a good flick, I suppose, but I think I was expecting a bit more

maybe I would've liked it better if I'd never seen Little Shop of Horrors

I'm actually curious if there are any true The Rocky Horror Picture Show fans on this forum 😛

I absolutely love that movie... I probably watch it at least once every six months just to revisit it.

The music is incredible. I find myself listening to the soundtrack here and there while I'm surfing the web or whatever. 👍

Honestly, I’ve kind of fallen down the rabbit hole too. I’ll have the movie playing in the background just to hum along while I browse, but man, it’s catchy 😁

Plus, a buddy of mine kept insisting it was a total masterpiece, like, the absolute best ever, blah blah blah... so after being pretty lukewarm about it at first, I think I'm finally starting to get what the hype is about.

I find The Rocky Horror Picture Show to be perfectly fine, though I don't quite share the manic enthusiasm some people have for it. It’s amusing enough, I suppose, if not laugh-out-loud hilarious. I do enjoy Musica, particularly that title track which I find myself humming quite often.

yeah, the movie wasn't really that funny to me either, but that music 😍 and the main theme, which I think is totally cool too,

I saw that ages ago, also via satellite... I can't even remember when those idiots on local cable aired that movie (if they ever did at all 😳).

Down here, they’ve been screening The Rocky Horror Picture Show at our local outdoor cinema for three summers straight now, and honestly, I never miss a single showing. 😛
