My girlfriend and I once realized we both actually knew the lyrics by heart from when we were kids, and we managed to recite the whole thing together perfectly...

If only I had that kind of memory today...

Honestly, I'd take a little violence over that depressing version of Bugs Bunny and his sidekick any day.

The song isn't even sad. It’s actually happy, because spring comes along later, the stream thaws out, and the little bunny ends up happy. 🙂

Well, my parents aren't like that.
One time, my mean grandma took our little kitten away because she was getting on her nerves. She told us the cat just ran off to its real owners, but she actually dumped it in the woods. My mom and dad eventually told me the truth about what Grandma did. 😢 So, my parents didn't make anything up about Bugs Bunny or the stream. My friend and I just figured out the theory ourselves, and we're right. 😎

Just drop the lyrics right here so we can actually get into this, because honestly, I’ve shed enough tears over Bugs Bunny already and I just need to know what the real truth is.

On a freezing winter night

Maybe there's some truth to the theory that Bugs Bunny survives, but there's zero scientific proof. Personally, I'm staying neutral on this one. Just an agnostic 😁

Also, does anyone know what happened to that ladybug who had her spots stolen? Honestly, seeing that just broke my heart...

I honestly think Bugs Bunny is going to end up in a stew—just like that wolf, the bear, and that poor little wild boar.

One night, a ladybug felt absolutely miserable
someone had swiped the spots right off her wings
she sat there crying all alone on a fragrant blossom
honestly, nobody in the world was feeling more blue than her

those little spots were back where they belonged

My mom probably still has an old VHS tape somewhere of me reciting this as a kid, stumbling over the word 'ladybug.' One day it’ll end up on some deep-cut compilation—'redcrane28: B-sides, Outtakes, and Other Rarities.'

But seriously, what’s the big deal? It’s just a dumb bug with black dots. She wakes up in the middle of the night, can't see them, and panics thinking they're gone. Then the sun comes up, she sees them, and everything's fine. That's basically how I felt as a kid—only my little bug wasn't stupid, obviously, she was precious and sweet.

I think I have a copy of "The Three Little Pigs" lying around somewhere at home. It was a gift from Santa Claus.

Now I really need to track down a new record player since my old one finally bit the dust.😢
