For the last three or four days, I’ve been dealing with this incredibly weird sensation in my head—it isn't exactly a headache, but more like
this constant, subtle pressure. On top of that, everything around me feels just... off? Like
I’m looking at the world through a different set of eyes, or maybe it's just that things feel heavier—like my vision is getting blurry when I try to read letters. I'm also dealing with
occasional bouts of mild nausea.
Because of this heavy feeling in my head, basically everything I need to get done (aside from sleeping, obviously) feels pretty
exhausting.
Is there any chance I’ve actually pinched a nerve because of this terrible bed I’m currently sleeping on? My back has been killing me every single morning lately... I’m really hoping it isn’t something serious, even though I’m starting to get pretty anxious about it.
I’d love to hear what you guys think.

Have you considered actually seeing a doctor?

Look, we aren't exactly qualified to provide a medical prognosis regarding your mental state over here...😁

Honestly, half the mental fog and headaches people deal with could probably be solved if they just got moving—seriously, get some blood flowing! Go outside, grab some fresh air, go for a brisk walk or even a run. And for heaven's sake, drink more water. It sounds like cliché health advice, but dehydration is basically the culprit behind about 80% of all headaches I know of.

Maybe you just need some glasses😉

For me, my prescription shifts every couple of years or so, and whenever it does, I deal with the exact same symptoms you're talking about.

Hey,
I’m thinking you might be running low on iron, and honestly, your circulation seems pretty sluggish too. Just my two cents, but you should probably go get some blood work done just to be sure what's actually going on.

Thanks for the well wishes.
So, I finally saw my doctor, and she’s convinced there’s something going on with my cervical spine—which sounds just lovely, doesn't it? Now she’s sent me off to see an ophthalmologist, a neurologist, and I have to get a Doppler ultrasound on my neck vessels.
It’s going to be one of those endless waiting games while I try to navigate the scheduling nightmare of getting all these appointments set up.
She didn't even bother sending me for blood work yet, though.
I am incredibly active when it comes to sports—I definitely don't lack movement or anything like that—if anything, I’m actually struggling because I can't seem to get enough sleep or actual rest. 🙂

Look, you really need to distinguish between being sleepy and being exhausted.

If you’re sleepy, then the solution is simple: go to sleep. 🙂

But if you’re feeling exhausted—that deep, bone-weary fatigue—it usually means the fuel you're putting in your body isn't high-quality enough to sustain your lifestyle (your workouts, your activity levels, all that stuff). 🙂 🙂

This might sound a bit out there or even a little strange to some people, but honestly, I've run into plenty of folks dealing with symptoms just like yours before. 😲 😉

And you managed to clear all of them up using just powders? 🙄

As far as my own eating habits go, I can tell you this: I haven't touched anything besides water for years. None of that deep-fried junk, nothing breaded or greasy—I haven't even gone near a burger, a slice of pizza, or fast food in ages. My diet is almost entirely vegetables (a mix of cooked and raw), clean proteins like chicken or lean beef, whole wheat pasta, rice, low-fat cottage cheese, and plenty of healthy fats—think flaxseed oil, fish, and walnuts—plus some Vitamin C supplements... honestly, I couldn't be any more disciplined if I tried. (Of course, once in a blue moon, I’ll cave and grab a slice of pepperoni pizza or a dessert with extra sugar 🙄

True,
but how can anyone actually tell if that food is healthy?
Our favorite science guy showed us (remember those charts?) that plants grown in regular soil are losing more and more vitamins and minerals every year.
Now we just have this lab-grown greenery from some high-tech facility, turned into powders to feed cells.
If we try to forage for plants, they'll probably just be begging for help at the local cell station because they're so hungry
and likely thirsty too!
