LINK NA TEMU

Can someone at least give me a heads-up on why this thread got locked?

To build on what’s been said, I’m honestly just trying to wrap my head around how someone can be a moderator for Eminem on the Religion forum and still feel entitled to shut down every single thread that doesn't sit right with them... specifically, they just locked a thread that had barely even gotten started titled "does God approve of tolerance."
Look, I get it, you can't have people being aggressive or picking fights in the comments, but this level of intolerance toward anyone holding a different perspective is just... it's not something I find particularly admirable.

It’s a bit like getting slapped in a diner and then running straight to George W. Bush to file a formal grievance. 🙄

There really wasn't any need to start a thread here; it goes against the rules. Since I was the one who closed the topic, you could have just sent me a private message and waited to see if I responded. If I didn't get back to you, there is always the "complaint book" section under religion. I suppose you should only open a public thread here after you've tried those steps and still haven't received a response that satisfies you.

Ugh, look, I’m sorry, I really didn't realize how things were supposed to work here since I’ve never actually had a reason to complain before... So, you're saying I need to file a formal complaint through the official channels? Fine, okay

Matt, in my opinion, this isn't even a religious topic—it belongs in the Religion subforum.
It can be analyzed from a historical, economic, or even political standpoint.
So, I'm with you—either move it on our end or just go ahead and open a new one in the right section.

Well, there you have it, and you've already received a response.
The procedure is outlined in the forum rules. Best.

As far as I'm concerned, just lock this thing already.
