My bad if this is the wrong sub, I honestly wasn't sure where else to post this..

So, I'm expecting a package from someone, but I'd rather they didn't have my actual home address on file. Is there any way to coordinate with the USPS so they can send it to a local post office instead, and then I just pick it up there?

So, here's the deal: I'm expecting a package from someone, but I’m really not comfortable having them know my actual home address. Is there any way I can coordinate with the USPS to have them ship it to a specific branch instead, so I can just head over there and pick it up with my ID?

You can just put your full name on the label, then instead of your street address, write "POSTE RESTANTE" followed by the ZIP code and the city of the specific post office where you plan to show up with your ID to claim the delivery.
